Girl Raped at Rockville HS

What DID happen is that two MEN, who did not LEGALLY belong in this country were allowed to have close contact with a minor by MCPS. WTF, a ninth grader who is 18.

+1

What is MCPS policy about this? They just allow anyone to enroll in HS? How does this work?

No, by your logic, if they were in their country of origin, a girl in their country of origin would have been raped.

This is about rape, it's not about immigration, don't make it about immigration.

This will sound crass and will most definitely offend your sensibilities, but here in the US we have an obligation to our citizens. Not illegal aliens that invade our schools. I know, crazy that a country puts its people first, you have been brainwashed by democrats. I get that and I understand you have been lied too and feel for it. But the law still stands.

A girl was raped (according to the police report), and you're talking about immigration policy.

You are repeating yourself. Many of us explained why it is about the immigration status among other things, but you don't want to hear us (or can't).

This is exactly she way I feel. It is NOT xenophobia. There is an absolute difference between a Latino person who is here LEGALLY and one who is here ILLEGALLY. It is quite possible that the victim of this crime was Latina, and also an immigrant.

I also cannot understand why it is difficult for people to understand that illegal immigration can have terrible consequences.

Change the rules and make it easier to immigrate legally if that is what you support. But don't defend illegal immigration.

Which is what, exactly? Besides the tautological one that one is here with authorization and one is here without authorization? And what is the difference to the girl at Rockville HS if her alleged attackers were here with papers or without?

They would NOT HAVE BEEN HERE. Why is that so hard to understand? They don't even have an address for the one kid. He's already broken a law to enter the country. WTF does he have to lose. He's already broken one law and gotten away with it, why not break others?

Yes, there's the tautology. Legal Latino people are here legally; illegal Latino people are here illegally. By definition. What's the difference, other than that?

If the girl is also here ILLEGALLY, will you next say that she wouldn't have been attacked because she would NOT HAVE BEEN HERE?

Yes, the argument has been, if they are here illegally, then they shouldn't have been here, and if they hadn't been here, then they wouldn't have allegedly raped this particular girl in this particular high school bathroom. What difference does that make to her? If you deported all 11 million unauthorized people in the US, there would still be rapists in the US, and rape victims, too.

This was the letter sent out by the Principal at Rockville HS:

March 17, 2017

Dear Parents and Guardians:

I am writing to inform you about a serious incident that occurred at our school yesterday, March 16, 2017, and share with you how it is being addressed.

It was reported to administration that a student was sexually assaulted by two students in a restroom. We immediately contacted the Montgomery County Police Department. The police conducted an investigation and subsequently executed arrests on school property of the alleged assailants. I am unable to share further details at this time as this is an ongoing police investigation.

Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming learning environment for all of our students is our top priority. Our staff remains vigilant in the monitoring of our school each and every day. Please remind your child that if they believe they are a victim of an assault or see something inappropriate, they should immediately tell a staff member.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel to contact me at 301-517-8105.

Sincerely,

Billie-Jean Bensen
Principal

It's pretty simple actually, we are not talking theoretical. We are talking facts. Illegal immigrants, who are too OLD to be in a general high school setting, raped this child. There is a large factual correlation with crime and illegal immigration.

Call the courthouse, ask how to sponsor these guys for citizenship, move them into your house.

You

Would you feel this way if it was your daughter? That it doesn't make a difference to her if this rape could have been avoided?

The point is that this particular incidence could have been avoided if the attackers were not here.

This is factually incorrect.

This is a strange source and analysis are pretty basic. I am not saying that conclusions are incorrect, but they don't look trustworthy. I'd be interested in looking at some peer-reviewed sources if you have them on hand.

This. An 18 year old boy raped a 14 year old girl. At school.

According to the link in the previous post you can turn 21 after Sept. 1 and still be a student. WTF?
Here is the policy:
Children age 5 by September 1, 2016, and not age 21 on the first day of school are eligible for enrollment in MCPS for the 2016-17 school year.

Do they place these 20 and 21 year old students in high school alongside 14 year olds?

Unfortunately, we can not have an open, honest and respectful discussion when it comes to race. Once someone disagrees with the political left they are called racist and politically motivated studies are thrown at them.

Agreed. I am having a hard time understanding why deportation of illegals with a criminal history is so difficult to comprehend.

The ban on Muslim countries, I didn't support. But citizenship is a privilege and not a right.
