You do realize that “illegal” is not hyphenated? |
Wow, lovely attitude to your fellow Americans. I think the palpable disdain like yours will motivate a lot of trump supporters. |
You misunderstood/ I wasn't clear. That's my thought on how it should be, not what the rules or laws are currently. |
Big freaking deal. My parents immigrated here legally on student visas and have always paid taxes. Being a poor student with the opportunity to earn a professional degree in the us is so different than people risking everything to come here. You can still feel compassion for them. If my dad had not been allowed to come here we would have been fine back in our country. He could actually have made more money back home. I don't begrudge illegals because if faced with the same choices I would do the same thing. That said this country should change the ability for all people being granted citizenship for merely being born here. You should have 1 parent who is a citizen for it to apply. |
| I don't feel any ind of way. I am not doing those jobs. |
| The US cannot survive if 40% is one ethnic group because they will set all the policies due to politicians kissing their asses and others resenting them. |
YES, they are criminals! They entered the country illegally. They broke the law. They are in fact criminals. |
On paper, yes but it's unavailable to most people who've come here illegally. If this process actually worked, they wouldn't be coming here illegally. The visa program is broken and needs to be fixed. |
WTF? Swamps of Louisiana? Did we not just see water in SW/CA, overbuilding and flooding results in swamps of Houston? Wyoming as route 7? Let people work and develope their own countries. |
Legal status will just encourage more. ie Reagan. |
Visa program tied to employers and employment. No job? You go back. |
| Anyone here illegally should be deported. Period. I voted for Obama twice but feel so strongly about immigration that I just might vote for Trump. |
Slavery. |
I feel the same. If you feel strongly about illegal immigration, do not vote for Clinton. She plans not to deport any illegals here already. That will only open our floodgates further. |
|
They are breaking the laws of the US. Contrary to popular liberal belief, the US is no longer the melting pot It was 100 years ago. Those immigrants assimilated, learned English and became Americans in every respect. Today the illegals do nothing to assimilate, expect everything to be given to them. I am sick of them.
Stop discounting Trump. If he promised to make ENGLISH our national language and to deport anyone who has been in the country for more than two years and not fluent in English, he would win in a landslide. He may still win in a landslide by just promising to build the wall. |
