Different poster you are arguing with above. Obviously there are several people with similar points of view. I am liberal and have a little girl and I want to ensure that our society is heading in the right direction and not going backwards. By doing the "liberal" thing which may seem kind in letting in refugees and others that want to harm us, we are hurting others like lgbt, women's rights, etc... Friends that grew up in these societies and fled them and are not religious are petrified of the influx of immigrants. They escaped the culture to come here and now you go to Tyson's mall and so many women are head to toe in burkas and were sitting at separate tables from their husbands. It was very strange and it was obvious it was not their choice to sit there. They didn't look very happy. Very sad and hard to believe they really want to wear a hot burka in Summer weather. |

What other constitutional right do you want them to lose and then have to prove? Perhaps the eight? They can be tortured until they prove they are on the list erroneously? How about the sixth? No speedy trial for you unless you prove you are on the list erroneously. See how that works? You are proving my point. The Orlando killer was an American citizen. He was also a Muslim who worshipped at a church where an Imam told members that they were doing gay people a favor by killing them. The problem isn't his color - it's his religious beliefs. You are worried about a population that is less than 1% could grow to have enough numbers to pass Sharia law. Do you also know many VERY RELIGIOUS JEWS USED TO WEAR a very similar religious clothing when they came as refugees in the 1930s,40s and 50s. Infact some jews still wear these to synagogues. The first generation always does. Dont be afraid of symbolism. WHAT REALLY MATTERS is to NOT LET people with FELONY or People on NO FLY list or People on Terror watch list TO GET GUNS. But the GOP, under NRAs order, supports the rights of criminals and terrorists THAN the rights of regular citizens. But the so called security experts here ONLY POINT AT terrorists/RACISTS after they commit crime BUT wont support them from getting guns in the first place. |

You are the one who missed the point. No matter the law, THE LAW DOESN'T HAVE EYES TO LOOK INTO EVERY HOUSEHOLD and stop every crime in every household. The law takes hold if something is reported. If any woman reports domestic abuse then the law supports her. So in the USA ALL domestic abuse is treated the same way if the Women reports it. Now there are many white/black/asian/muslim woman who may not report it, thats a different issue. I do not know what Sharia Law does in case of Domestic abuse. Maybe it supports the women (doesn't mean if the law supports the political class executes it) or maybe it doesn't. I am not any religious expert. |

Read again. I said in America the law supports the woman, no matter if they are abused by White or black or muslim man. I dont CARE WHAT SHARIA says, coz in this country Sharia is not the law. And guess what happened in NJ? A Jordanian woman was refused a restraining order because the judge ruled her husband didn't know beating her was wrong, due to their culture. It took A YEAR for that to be undone. A YEAR for that woman to finally receive her restraining order. In good ole America. Imagine that! What the PP was saying, is that Muslims have already TRIED to get Sharia law passed. At this moment in time, they were shot down. If we continue to allow unchecked Muslim immigration, how long before we are dealing with the same issues German and Sweden are? |
