Big freaking deal. My parents immigrated here legally on student visas and have always paid taxes. Being a poor student with the opportunity to earn a professional degree in the us is so different than people risking everything to come here. You can still feel compassion for them. If my dad had not been allowed to come here we would have been fine back in our country. He could actually have made more money back home.

I don't begrudge illegals because if faced with the same choices I would do the same thing.

That said this country should change the ability for all people being granted citizenship for merely being born here. You should have 1 parent who is a citizen for it to apply.[/quote]
