I never shared my pronouns. My pronouns were my right to remain silent about my pronouns.

I don’t understand why this is necessary. The vast majority people have pronouns consistent with the way they look.

Why do we all have to announce ourselves to accommodate such a small percentage of the population? Why can’t we treat each other with respect and if I get your name wrong, or your pronouns or anything else, just correct me, I will apologize and abide accordingly.

English already has a perfectly good single, gender neutral pronoun.

If you don't want to be he or she, I guess you are "it."
