If you’re HS kid can’t figure out a ride home you have bigger issues to worry about.

Kid in is SMCS in Poolesville. We live in Germantown. Bus stop is 3 miles from home. They arrived two hours early without notification from the school. But you do you, princess.

I am confused by this. School didn’t dismiss early.

SMCS kids usually have an 8th period and take a late bus home. They were dropped off earlier than usual (which is normal time for non- SMCS students)

I guess nobody considered fire alarms going off at my DD's high school. Nothing like stomping and sliding through the snow to their locations away from the building. Nothing was cleared and students were slipping and falling, let alone freezing.

The notice didn’t say anything about dismissing school early. Plus where did these buses magically appear from? Not to
mention 8th period isn’t 2 hours long.

Finally wouldn’t a high schooler be able to contact their parent? Why would a parent rely on the school district to notify them?

They were using the two hour delay to clean and get school areas ready. So that didn't happen?
