GA is down bad right now

Lots of Top GA clubs across the country leaving for ECNL....it will be announced soon. Anyone who joins SYC GA, you may win a lot but it's going to be a clown show with competition. Your player won't get better beating up GA teams 7-0.

Funny, I haven’t seen any announcements.

That 7-0 game will be against Revolution if they can’t convince 90+% of current FCV GA players to switch clubs. 😉

Not doubting the rumors but I'm awaiting to see which clubs have shifted and how ECNL is handling their structure. Will it just add on to existing conferences? Or will they replace clubs to maintain balance?

You don't know who's leaving for ECNL. You must really think that ECNL is not doing well to announce "the sky is falling." Maybe your non-starting ECNL player should look at GA. Then maybe she'll get to play in game. Let's face it, most of these ECNL girls players could go to GA teams and still sit. NOVA teams aren't going to win any national titles until you get the best 22 girls on one team for each age group.

Just based on the title you know this is just pot stirring from some agenda pushing person for whatever reason.

GA went down the min SYC announced they were joining.

Time for SYC to get a facelift and hire some real folks to run SYC.

The bolded is so true.NOVA talent is too spread out among the teams. There are some age groups where you can see the most talent in the area has gathered at one club but for the most part, talent is scattered. If NOVA brought together the best based on talent alone, (not $$ contributed to the club, or parent being on the right board) we could compete nationally. That goes for the best coaches too. Unfortunately pay to play and ego are always going to be a road block.

Curious, which clubs compete nationally in the U.S. and how is there competition for players in the surrounding area?

Until there is proof… it’s all speculation. 2-4 teams leaving…not a big deal. 5-10 we have a problem

I think it depends on the 2~4 - if they'll all Champions Cup Clubs (cream of the GA crop) like NEFC, TopHat, Ukies and Nationals Blue then it's a big deal

Agreed on these 4

OP, your DD is clearly McLean or Arlington, yes? Relax, your team will be just fine. It’s ok to have another superteam in the area.

I've heard the opinion before that Solar competes and that's because they have a stranglehold on the area. I don't know about where they're located but I thought it was the DFW area which has quite a bit of ECNL presence I thought and a large population.

I've heard the same about Top Hat in the ATL area.
