From what I hear TSJ has had some internal issues lately.

There's a good chance they're just saying what parents want to hear to keep players engaged.

Also usually ECNL makes new teams prove themselves in ECRL before moving them up to ECNL. This might also be what they mean by "trying to get into ECNL". They might be just talking about moving all their teams to the ECRL with the hope that they'll eventually get ECNL.

FCV has an issue because ECNL still hates them. This could go away at some point. Anyone's guess as to when. But if it happened no way they would make them do RL. Rumor is ECNL taking 4 top GA teams. they would all go straight to ECNL. RL is for second teams.

There is a lot of variations of the 4

No one on here know, it's all a guess. My money is on at least Tophat and Nationals because their boys already play in ECNL

It's more than just being in the league that attracts players and families, it is a track record of college recruiting success. SYC, on the girls side has none compared to the remaining ECNL clubs.

I said "willingly". But good luck winning that GA National Championship against a weakened GA after top clubs leave, with "Little Susie" who was previously a ECNL sub.

Right. And there are more college scouts at a GA FINAL than there are in a mid tier ECNL teams games who’s season ends early every year after being mediocre.

Scouts don't show up at events to randomly walk around to find players.

Players reach out to them and create a connection. If the coach wants to check things out regarding the player they will.

College scouts will know if a player will fit in their environment within the first 3-4 minutes of watching a player.

High level GA teams are fairly equivalent to ECNL teams from a recruiting perspective.

GA and MLSNext are independent. MLSNext doesn't care about the girls side.
