| Idc about ECNL or GA, I'm just reporting it as it is. |
| Reporting rumors and talk currently. Probably a good idea to keep it in mind but also take it with a tablespoon of salt. |
| Nah, you don't understand youth soccer then. When's the last time a rumor was 100% false. People don't just make shit up about switching leagues etc |
| wow, the one kid spreading all of this is really busy. I hope it is for their school project to demonstrate how gullible soccer parents are |
+1 |
| Put your player in the best situation. It has nothing to do with ECNL or GA. |
Best advice is here. No point in putting your kid in either of these leagues if the environment for them is miserable or toxic. Best place is the most competitive environment for them based on their skill with the least amount of drama and toxicity. |
| What sucks is the guy that’s posting, won’t say who is leaving. Only ones he hinted at were NEFC and nationals |
My advice is to play at the club that practices and plays games closest to your house. Why waste your life driving around town chasing a league? Once you get to college nobody asks or cares which youth club you came from. Also with the amount of players in the transfer portal it's very obvious that something is out of wack in the recruitment process. |
I bet GA is throwing MLS Next access at Nationals + any club that threatens to join ECNL. |
Because he has no clue and is just stirring the pot. |
Yes, that seems to be in the mix as well. Typically GA teams have MLS Mext. |
In virtual meetings with parents last week TSJ said they will be trying to get into ECNL. Did not seem like they meant for 2024-25 season but maybe that’s in play now. |
Pretty bold of them to show their hand. That would be awesome. We are looking at them for our younger DD... |
I still think they are on the banned list. |
