Do you know who is group 1 and group 2? has there been a decision on how that would be decided as at the hs level, its difficult by last names due to electives and course selections.

we were told the same thing which means it will probably happen on Friday so that principals don't have to deal with the influx of parents emails.

We had that happen for ES on Friday. The VP emailed us his assignment about 30 minutes after the blank email came.

Via email or SIS?

Via email. I am a parent. The principal told us the info is loaded into ParentVue but won't be visible to parents until Sept. 4, which is why they emailed it to us.

Our principal will never do this. He has a giant stick up his ass and also sucks at communicating.

School board meeting is today(now). They are preposing that parents/teachers will vote again if they move to “dialing” back a return to school for students. I think this means a staggered return. SPED, ESOL early ES, all ES and do on. Since teacher assignments are currently a MESS in regard to hybrid, hybrid groups, and DL, they can abandon making assignments for these categories. As an incentive for teachers coming back they are preposing that FCPS children can attend their teacher parent school 4 days a week

We were told Aug 31 for our ES.

Too bad they can't offer a pay incentive for teachers who pick in-person. I'll bet that would increase participation.

That's ridiculous. Of course they shouldn't offer that.
