I’m a psychic medium. Spiritual beings and ghosts are literally an everyday occurrence in my life. We live in a very diverse spiritual ecosystem. We are not the only ones sharing this space. Most people have just forgotten how to perceive.

Can you see/hear deceased relatives/loved ones ? I wish I could...

I can. And so can you. It takes practice. It’s like any skill. Some people are naturally gifted at playing the piano. Some people have to work really hard at it. But anyone can play. The biggest hurdle for most people is overcoming fear.

Went skiing in the Poconos and stayed at this random old lodge with 2 friends. Went skiing and came back to the room and everything was knocked over. The picture on the wall was crooked. Stuff strewn all over the room like pens and papers, blankets and pillows, but nothing was stolen. Went back down stairs and the front desk said no one else was in the room. I made a joke that it was probably a ghost, and she responded in a serious tone that they were known to have 'permanent guests' who've been occupying the lodge for the last 90 years.

We thought nothing of it after straightening up the room and went to dinner. Come back and everything is fine. 2 friends take the bed while I sleep on the couch near the fireplace. Everyone goes to sleep fine. All of the sudden in the wee hours of the night, the phone right near me near the couch mysteriously turns on on speaker and it is a bunch of static. Everyone wakes up. I crap my pants and demand to sleep in the bed too, lol. All 3 of us in the bed sleep and wake up the next morning.

That's it.. I know it isn't the scariest story, but that's the closest I've ever come to believing in ghosts. Bizarre events on that skiing trip. Nothing serious. Just a lot of mischief.

No, but I guess that has to do with my belief in the soul and our purpose in life. A lost soul- one that you might describe as staying in a B&b, may not accept the fact that they are dead, or are waiting for someone they think they need to move to the next phase of their journey, or are so attached to a physical location on earth that they simply cannot leave it, even when given the free will to go do not choose to do so.

For some reason, those souls are stuck. Interventions, like acknowledging their presence and asking/telling them to move in may be the shoulder shaking they need.

Pray tell, how does one “accept” or “think” anything when they no longer have a brain?

The same way you do.

I thought this was about the TV show.

It freaked me out and I pulled the covers over my eyes and when I had the strength to look again she was gone.

I had this same experience but it happened where I used to live in Bethesda and it was an old woman in an old fashioned nightgown staring down at me while I slept. She had her hands clasped and was just looking over me in a non-menacing way but she was completely white and translucent. Scared the crap out of me and I also pulled the covers over my eyes until I could check to see that she was gone. We felt her presence the whole time we lived there--heard footsteps on the stairs, could hear things in the kitchen, lights would turn on and off. She made her appearance a few days before we moved out. I kind of like to think she was pleased we let her be and didn't bother her while we lived there, but just not sure why she wanted to look at me while I was sleeping.

I definitely believe in spirits. My only experience is when my dad was ghost hunting a few years ago, my uncle and I were walking around the wooded park area connected to the building. The entire time we were out there (around an hour) I continuously felt like I was walking through spiderwebs. My uncle even went first a few times and I still felt like I was walking through webs. Afterwards I read spiritual interaction could feel like that.

I've also experienced déjà vu more than I can count. I'm not sure if that's related, feels like it might be.

No. They don’t see us in our physical form. They see us the same way we see them. Usually they see our higher selves as light.

There is no way to know this is true

Those of us who communicate with spiritual beings, including ghosts, absolutely know. They tend to present themselves in ways that make them easier for us to identify. For example, if I’m reading for someone and her granddad shows up, he might be dressed in overalls holding a rake if he were a farmer when he was alive. One of my client’s grandmother appeared in an old nursing uniform complete with the hat. She was a nurse during WW2. Those things help us validate whom we are speaking to. And it’s very comforting to the client.

Why is it always old timey ghosts? What about ghosts from the 80s or recent ones? Why is that nobody ever recounts seeing a rando ghost with bell bottoms?

Why would you think they are all old? Most people I read want to connect with deceased loved ones. These are not ghosts. These are people who have transitioned into the next realm. Typically they are older simple because they are ancestors. But I’ve communicated with plenty of kids and younger people.

Ghosts are dead people who have not crossed over. Sometimes they are scared of judgement. Sometimes they are just attracted to the bad stuff here on earth. Sometimes they are angry and confused. Often they feel they have unfinished business. They don’t usually stay for good reasons. They are very different from people who chosen to cross. Communicating with people on the other side feels really good. Communicating with earth bound spirits (ghosts) definitely does not.

Your post is bull sh*t. NICUs tend to have very high survival rates. You did not work in a high volume NICU. Even in a picu that number would be cause all kinds of attention and investigation.

The car was off, but one of my dashboard lights, a big one, flashed suddenly. I have had that car for awhile and been in there with the ignition off and have never seen it happen. I did wonder if it was a passed loved one saying “hey, it’s goinf to be ok” or “calm the eff down”

Uh huh. Yeah, the least probable explanation for that light coming on must be true. Your wanting it to be a magical event doesn't make it one.

NICUs also don't have swings in them. You never worked in one.
