I’m not great at distance reading. It shouldn’t matter because time and space aren’t a thing in the spirit world. But, I have always had difficulty connecting from a distance. There is a reader on dcum who is really good at it.

That said, I see a male figure. And go ahead and laugh, but he looks kinda like Abraham Lincoln. Very tall. Dark hair. Beard. Black suit. And he is showing me a pipe. A sidewalk. But I see those often when I read people. I think it’s meant to show a path maybe? He is showing me rolling green hills. I don’t think he is related to you.

Three girls. They are showing me as young. But that doesn’t mean they left this earth young. They are holding hands in a circle. Playful energy. Happy. Laughing. Outdoors. Two are in dresses. When we first bought our house, and before we moved in, I would go over during the day to strip wallpaper and paint. We are only the second owners of our 70+ year old house, having purchased it from the son of the owner who had passed away. The owner built the house for his wife after WWII and it was clear when we looked at it that it was a much loved house. When we bought it, it looked like an “old lady” house, well taken care of, but very dated. The dining room wallpaper was original from the 1940’s when the house was built. Anyway, when I was over there working, I always got the feeling of a presence in the house. I figured it was the previous owner so I would talk to her and tell her how much I loved her house and what I was doing to it (painting this bedroom blue, taking down this old wallpaper because it’s stained and crumbling, etc.). We’ve been in the house for 10 years now, and I don’t feel her there anymore. But I always thought she was happy that we loved her house so much.

I have a question for the medium(s), my teen has really gotten into ouija boards. I’ve always viewed it as a fun board game, but still can’t help feeling slightly uneasy when she and her friends get it out. Do you have any thoughts on this? Is it harmless or should I be concerned?

Psychic medium here. I have very very strong feelings about Ouija boards. The problem with them is that they have been used for years to invite anything and everything into the space. Think about the Lord’s Prayer. It has power simply because for thousands and thousands of years people have given it power. The words in and of themselves don’t hold the power. It’s the intention. The same is true for a Ouija board. For many many years, the board has been used in an attempt to summon, whatever might be willing to show up. People rarely set intentions when they use a Ouija board. It’s like holding a giant light up in the darkness and saying here I am come on in.

They can be used safely by people who understand the importance of casting a circle, psychic protection, intention, and closing the circle. But kids never do that. A Ouija board is a really good way to get uninvited guests into your home. Absolutely do not recommend. I work with spirits every single day. I use a lot of different divination tools. I will not touch a Ouija board. There is just too much dark history associated with their use. They are not a game.

Around you - I see at least ten deceased loved ones in your space. They are actually kinda crowding me a little. One of them is showing himself as younger. He steps forward. Boy. Blond. Shaggy haircut. I think he want to show a school. He is holding a chain of flowers like we made as kids.


He isn’t talking. His presence feels good. Calming. Reassuring. The others stand a little further back giving him the space. I hear wind chimes. Lots of light around him. You are very lucky! You have so many people who love and support you. You can talk to them.

when my daughter was a newborn I had to be readmitted to the hospital. I was scared, hormonal, and a mess.

during a clinical procedure I was told they would give me something to calm me down (some form of medication).

I was praying and practically begging my deceased father to be there with me. I was scared of the outcome/results of the test. All of a sudden I felt him there. it was like a warm wash over my whole body. I thought they gave me the medicine and it kicked in. I was immediately calm.

then the nurse said - ok we are giving you x medication now. I was shocked. I really thought I had gotten it already but knew then it was my dad who was there for me.

at our last home we would hear children running up and down the hall, except there was no one there.

we would get woken up at 3 a.m. all the time! it was like we couldn't get a full night's sleep.

now we are in a new home and more than one occasion - I've been woken up out of a dead sleep by someone shouting my name in my ear! it is so scary. one time it was my like my own voice yelling in my ear. I don't understand that action at all.

if any mediums could explain it to me, I would appreciate it.

They don't "see" us with their eyes. They no longer have physical bodies, so they don't even have eyes. They might show us as human looking, but that's for our benefit. They see us the same way we see them. They see us purely as spirit.

That’s very interesting. I have no idea who a blonde boy would be. Perhaps someone from the white side of my family? But anyone I know who would be looking out for me is still alive. That side of my family is tiny.
