They tend to present themselves in ways that make them easier for us to identify. For example, if I’m reading for someone and her granddad shows up, he might be dressed in overalls holding a rake if he were a farmer when he was alive. One of my client’s grandmother appeared in an old nursing uniform complete with the hat. She was a nurse during WW2. Those things help us validate whom we are speaking to. And it’s very comforting to the client. [/quote]
