OP has difficulty understanding the indomitable power of the human spirit when it comes to survival.
OP has difficulty comprehending the amazing strength of a mother’s love and the awesome dedication that bonds families together. OP has difficulty fathoming the sheer force of faith how it has willed poor and struggling people to endure insufferable circumstances and overcome insurmountable obstacles. OP is not totally ignorant. OP knows poor people have survived wars and famines and plagues and depressions and disasters and enslavements and oppressions and annihilations and exterminations and deprivations and discriminations since the dawn of civilization. OP knows this, but OP cannot conceive that such strength and power and will and dedication and faith exists in such lesser peoples. OP is the sort of spoiled spoon-fed arrogant elitist that solely sees life through the lens of material prosperity but is totally blind to the richness of life in terms of humanity. |
Only if you have sex. |
As a doctor I worked with used to say, "Regardless of income or intelligence level, there's one thing everyone figures out how to do." |

Or are raped. Or your husband / boyfriend demands sex. Especially all these migrants from macho Central and south American countries. Lots of poor women in the US want a baby because it's the only thing they think they have to look forward to. I'm from a low income community and see this all the time. |
Yes. OP sees herself and people like her as the ones who deserve to have children. She thinks poor migrants don't deserve to have children. |
It means your views are those of fascists. |
Be grateful that you’re in a position where you can’t even fathom how it happens. |
Who else here does not believe she is an "Indian immigrant"? |
I don't who the OP is. I am the PP who said I'm not white, in response to OP. I happen to be Indian. |
I’m a Latina(though technically white), and I believe her. |
why do we have so many rapist American men? And it’s sad to say, Honduras isn’t the only culture with some F’ed up laws about contraception, abortion, etc |
I wonder about the American born moms on Babycenter who have five kids in Medicaid |
For you, and OP: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-7167121/Fenty-model-Aweng-Chuol-slams-todays-society-ignoring-Sudanese-crisis.html |
No, you aren't. I don't believe you. If you were really, as you say, "an Indian immigrant", you would have some understanding of the issues that plague women in the countries from which most of our migrants come, because these are prevalent in your own country of origin: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/jul/02/india-most-dangerous-country-women-survey I have friends who really are from India, and though their families were more privileged than most, they were unable to fail to notice (as you have) the horrible plight of many, many women in their country, or the significance of women's rights concerns in these situations. You are no more from India than I am. |
