Did they remove it?
I don't know, I haven't clicked to look at her IG again. A pp said it probably doesn't matter and nothing will be done, but I don't care. They still need to know. I hope they get bombarded with constants reports for her page.

Ok, I reported her account, too.

She looks like Giuliana Rancic.

She makes Giuliana look heavy.

She has over 500k followers on instagram. That's followers, not people who simply go there and see her page. You honestly think 1-2 occasions of reporting are going to do a damn thing? Or haven't been done before? The girl has been parading her emaciated self for years on social media.

No, I don't think anyone on this thread implied this. Quite the opposite, it's been said many times it will do nothing, even by those of us that are actually clicking to report the page. Don't care, still reporting it. I mean it's one click, it's not like it took me any effort and it can't do any harm.

Reporting won’t help, since IG is basically one big advertisement for eating disorders. Half of the accounts are women with bodies that can only be achieved by eating calories in the triple digits. If they take hers down, they have to start taking down everyone who promotes disordered eating, and then they lose most of their users.

Do you use IG? I do and I disagree with the bolded.

Facebook owns Instagram. They will obviously do nothing.

She tweeted today "Hi guys! I appreciate the concern. I’m taking a break from social media and voluntarily working on this with my doctor privately. Please respect that."

I hope she's getting help.

She's still alive?

When I saw this thread bumped, I thought... "so she finally died?"

I hope she's getting help. This video breaks down her parents. She's an adult but lives with them, and there's clearly an unhealthy enabling dynamic going on. At one point her dad says "happy birthday. you look good - you look 14." Her upper arm these days appears to be the diameter of my thumb.

Glad to know she's working at her issues with her doctor. I wish her success.

I really didn't know she was an adult; thought she was still a teen. I would be out of my mind with worry if I were her mom.

I hope they take down the account of the other severely disordered girl. I don't remember who shared it or the exact name (something like ghost in my pocket or closet?). How does the body continue on like that for years at such a low weight?

She's 24 years old... shame on her money milking parents.
