My mother looks skeletal because she has a chronic neurodegenerative disease. People stare at her when she swims at the pool. The rest of the time she's pretty covered up.

I can't imagine the depth of illness people would need to be in that they'd look at a bag of bones and think: "hey, I want to look like that."

But body dysmorphia does some messed up things to the brain.

Deny her an income? She's a bad influence and promotes unhealthy habits, responsible and ethical platforms shouldn't allow her on them. She can go flip burgers and eat one or two for an income.
