Long may the shutdown continue

They can point to the fact that they tried. They can point to the fact that the president was willing to starve people and asked the Supreme Court to cut off money for kids food. They can point to the fact that the Rs did know the premiums were skyrocketing and decided that that was okay. You no longer have to ask the populace to imagine what the Rs would do - they did it. So one more year of this BS.

Wow you are expecting American voters to connect an awful lot of dots, aren’t you?

We are expecting voters to vote for FAFO26. We no longer negotiate with terrorists.

The expectaion was that dems would fold after the election. At least the election results were good for them.

The Democrats are getting ready to blink and reopen the government. So what did they get from this mess? Maybe reopen before TN results? Maybe get the Epstein files released?

Epstein files will NOT make a difference to his supporters. He has proven to be a rapist and guilty on 34 felonies and it made no difference.

Democrats aren’t very smart and won’t hold the line. Midterms are so far away this argument won’t make a difference.

There’s simply no incentive to voting for the Democratic Party. They have no teeth, leadership, ideas or purpose.

Republicans dominate the cultural and political moment not because they actually have popular ideas, but they just clearly have a moral principle to spew hateful policy and they do it well (dressed in be concerns about the economy, deficit, or what have you). It is really becoming difficult to justify voting at all if you aren’t a republican.

The last couple of days, I have been seeing posts saying congress is now finding out the Epstein files are far worse for Trump than we could ever imagine. Then this happens. I wonder if democrats know they need to just open up gov, get the files released, and then get him out of office. They must have had a good reason to give up. They had all the momentum.

What fricken idea do they have about healthcare? About affordability?

NONE. GTFO.

I heard it was the travel issues that got Dems to vote to re-open. So basically it’s ok for the poor to go without but impact those who can afford to travel…oh no, let’s open.

Sadly neither party really care about the poor.

I am so sick of the devaluing of the American presidency with wild bs. I honestly wouldn’t care if it shut down until the midterms and I don’t think I’m alone.

I predicted that the air traffic controllers would end the shutdown.
The ATC got Congress to stay up late on a Sunday to negotiate.

However much I want the shutdown to end, I condemn Tim Kaine for caving to the Republicans.
Now, the Democrats have lost their leverage!
Didn't Kaine see what happened on Tuesday??
Now millions of Americans will lose their health care.
This is a sad day for Democracy.
Yes, people are hungry without SNAP benefits, but they won't die. Without health care, they will die.
Primary Tim Kaine out!!!!

Eff the Democrats. I am done with them. I'm a Socialist now. The Democrats are DINOs. They belong to the GOP. Why bother to hide it?

The Democrats in Washington have fully funded health care. They aren't going to be unable to get treatment when they get cancer or get in an accident or just get sick. Us poors are going to suffer.

Nobody is stopping you (or anyone else) from running in a primary for School Board, State Assembly, or even Congress. It’s not “the Party” - it’s the lack of individuals willing to engage to change the system.

The Federal government must not reopen until Trump is perp-walked out of the White House.

It's too dangerous.

Take care of your neighbors and we'll have to clean up the mess when the infestation of traitors is cleared out.

Cool. What percent of the vote do the Socialists have? What's your plan?

Just truly disgusting.

Get the traitor out of the White House so we can get our country back. All Lives Matter
