Long may the shutdown continue

Anonymous
I have multiple flights booked in the next few weeks and I am more than happy to sit in airports or have them cancelled if it means some curtailing of this psychotic government’s power. I am so sick of the devaluing of the American presidency with wild bs. I honestly wouldn’t care if it shut down until the midterms and I don’t think I’m alone.

We all want the shutdown to continue.

That’s fine. But just understand that you’re willing to miss your flight because Senator Schumer is trying to avoid a primary.

Or that Mike Johnson doesn't want to bring the House back because he would have to swear in a certain member that was elected almost 2 months ago. We can do this all day.

It’s psychotic that the “emergency” ACA subsidies are expiring at the deadline set by Democrats 5 years ago? While you’re stuck in the airport you should look up the definition of psychotic. Definition: YOU.

No we can’t do this all day. Because the Speaker said about a thousand times the House will be brought back into session 48 hours after the Senate passes the clean CR.

Democrats in Washington don’t care about poor people without food and federal workers without pay. They care about power.

^^^Republicans, not Democrats. Autocorrect strikes again.

Grandpa Trump is too busy falling asleep in the Oval Office to worry about ending the shutdown. Man needs his beauty rest.

I know for a fact that some federal workers whose salaries had already gone through pre-authorizations and were already put through appropriations before the shutdown have had some of that money clawed back, for use in paying military members.

Is the reason why they are fighting SNAP that the money was siphoned away somewhere else, illegally and in secret? Does Jackson's stay come with any seed of investigation?

On the one hand, people are really suffering. On the other hand, something HAD to change. This country is being/has been looted.

You can only pay with the coin you have. This was the only leverage left. I hate it, and it's bloody, and I think it would be so much worse without the shutdown -- eventually.

And we also have to keep people alive now.

Sure Americans are in bread lines and layoffs are ripping across the country and prices are up and health care costs are skyrocketing… but least Ghislaine is happier now, that’s what counts!

Man look the cuts after the midterms are a lot worst vs ACA cuts.

Also remember these ACA cut are about 7 billion a year. Trump increased farmer handouts by that much.
