However much I want the shutdown to end, I condemn Tim Kaine for caving to the Republicans. Now, the Democrats have lost their leverage! Didn't Kaine see what happened on Tuesday?? Now millions of Americans will lose their health care. This is a sad day for Democracy. Yes, people are hungry without SNAP benefits, but they won't die. Without health care, they will die.
