Need outside perspective on a fight with DH

Someone already said this, but if my partner or anyone said something starting with, “You women”…” nothing that comes next is likely to be respectful or open minded and it will probably be condescending.

The way you respond and then you go back-and-forth is a separate issue, but I’m sorry he speaks that way.

I didn't read the entire thread yet, but ugh I would be so grossed out by this attitude. Very misogynistic and I would make sure you're having good discussions with your kids to make sure they understand his viewpoint is incorrect and harmful to society.

You and your DH have too much time on your hands. You keep saying he kept pushing the matter. Did he hold a gun to your head to engage in this nonsense? Move to another room and enjoy your song. Or find another fun activity to do since arguing with your DH over rubbish is more entertaining to you than listening to songs you claim you like.

OP, it's one thing when a guy can't get laid so he decides to hate women. Sad/gross but they live in the echo chamber they create with other misogynists.

But your DH is married to you/has kids and a family and still hates women? Huge relationship red flag that he is a misogynist who wants to argue red pill talking points in front of the kids AND that you are playing this dumb game with him. Your kids sound like mediators/already starting the hopeful divorce countdown so they don't have to hear this crap anymore.
