TEXIT getting closer and closer!

People need to learn history and geography.

Eagle's Pass is not where most come through that is miles and miles away.

Texas can not legally secede. Civil War history and Texas constitution say so.

As usual Republicans are uneducated.

Lots of fodder to rile the base cause someone to get hurt and money grifts from Republicans. To pay for Melania's hair, makeup and clothing. Plus Don's legal bills.

Again the amount of uneducated Republicans in the US is astounding. .

Are you Americans?

I’m an American. A REAL American. And I want Texas and all the other red states tossed out of the United States. I don’t want red states to be part of our country. I want them GONE. If it takes a civil war to do that, so be it. We have lots of new Americans that have come here in the last three years seeking a better life. A lot of them are young males suitable for military service, so let them join the army and fight the red states. They can earn their citizenship with their service.

Those people who have come here are not new AMERICANS at all. They are from countries all over the world.... they are not Americans.
And, you don't seem to have an issue with the fact that a good number of them are of military age... including the ones coming from China and Russia and other countries not exactly friendly to the US. In fact, you seem to believe that to be a good thing. How naive can you be?
And, I seriously wonder if you are truly an American. I don't think you realize that "red states" have blue cities just like "blue states" have red cities.
Just wondering how this "tossing out of red states" will go. What will it look like? Who will do the tossing?

Name one blue state with a red city. There are no red cities. Think about that.

Colorado Springs, Colorado and Bakersfield, California

You mean this Colorado Springs? https://coloradosprings.gov/mayor

Mayor Yemi Mobolade was sworn in as the 42nd Mayor of Colorado Springs on June 6, 2023. Mayor Yemi is a political independent with experience bringing communities together and unifying people around a common purpose. He has successfully elevated residents, small businesses, and entrepreneurs to economic security, and identified innovative ways to make our city work for everyone.

It’s good to have choices.

So you mean all the red taker states would leave? Man, can you imagine how awesome that would be for the blue states that have been subsidizing them for the past 70 years?

The takers of all states would immigrate to the blue country. Producers would move to red

Sure. No social security, medicare, FDIC, farm subsidies, federal highway program, federal prison system, CBP, Homeland security, military, access to US weapons, access to the US market, OSHA, unions, worker rights, SEC, etc. All companies with HQ in Texas or other states would be considered foreign companies and taxed according. Oil and gas producers would lose subsidies. Texas gets anywhere from 25-50% of it state budget from the federal government. No NFL or college football.

About 1/2 the state’s population would leave the state. It would be a very hard time in Texas. Texas would also reinstate slavery.

The Republic of Texas would just go bankrupt again after achieving "independence" and then come crawling back to the U.S. like it did 180 years ago.

That's fine! Let's negotiate it like England did when they wanted out. Then they can finally realize what they've lost. "An average of six polls conducted in June and July 2023 shows 58% of voters in favor of rejoining the EU".

I think we need to have a re-application process for states to be part of the Union.

Haley appeared on “The Breakfast Club,” a radio show hosted by DJ Envy and Charlamagne tha God, and in the almost hour-long interview, she was asked about her thoughts on the situation at the border. When asked about her previous comments on the ability for states to secede, Haley said she believes in state’s rights and doesn’t believe Texas will secede.

“I think state’s are going to make decisions, but let’s talk about what’s reality. Texas isn’t going to secede,” said Haley. “I mean, that’s not something they’re going to do.”

Charlamagne tha God pressed Haley on her comments from 2010, where she said that state's have a right to secede. Haley went on to say that if a majority of people in Texas say they want to secede, they can.

“If Texas decides they want to do that, they can do that,” said Haley. “If that whole state says they don’t want to be part of America anymore, I mean that’s their decision to make.”
