If you could send your son anywhere for school

"If you could send your son anywhere for school AND your son was exactly like mine in every respect including intellect, athleticism, social skills, extracurricular interests, religious upbringing, birth order, quality and educational philosophies of preschool and elementary school attended, favorite flavor of icecream ... where would you send him?"

This thread is beyond useless.

Sidwell. But I like St. Albans and am impressed by Gonzaga.

If your son is a sensitive poetic type, Landon may not be for you, although kids like this can survive there, believe it or not, but the school ought to do more to help such kids find a niche. By senior year, most of the guys have grown up enough to appreciate the differences in their classmates, unlike some of the parents! The geniuses are good at hiding it, pretending they don't study much, and then surprising everyone with how well they do--this is the culture. If a kid is an obvious grade-grubber, he might be unhappy there.
