| I detest summer. |
| I can barely tolerate summer on the hottest days. Temps in the 80s with a breeze and low humidity is ideal to me. |
| Hating summer is like hating children or puppies. Y’all are weird. |
I feel the same way about people who hate snow. |
| Who likes to sweat just while walking to their car? |
I hate summer in the DC area because it’s humid as hell. |
|
I hate the summer here in VA, 100%.
I can do heat just fine but the humidity is what is terrible. I can't stand the days when you sweat while just existing outside, like sitting at a sports game doing nothing. I grew up in New Hampshire and we didn't have the heat & humidity like down here. |
|
It's mixed for me. I LOVE SUMMER when I'm on vacation. I love hot sunny days at the beach or the pool or as a kid at summer camp going for balmy night hikes listening to bugs and night noises and having a campfire.
I HATE SUMMER during the work week when I have to function and wear clothes and be presentable. I like days like today (60 degrees and raining in DC) when I have to get work done and be productive. |
| I don’t like the humidity and bugs but I love everything else. Less activities/pressure on kids. Travel when possible. Long days. Sunshine. Comfy clothes instead of all the layers. I just wish DC didn’t feel like a swamp between June and August. |
| Does anybody else hate the really long sunny days of June and July? The effin sun comes up here at 515. By 8 am the sun is beating down on you and still is at 730 at night. Totally sucks! |
No. It’s the best part of summer. The short, dark gray days of winter are the worst. |
| I've never adapted to the humidity and bugs in this area. These aspects of summer I really hate. |
| Ahh, my people. The only reason I like June is because I know fall is only a few months away. |
| I hate summer because I'm still working full time and Mr plus running out Ds around to various camps all over the place with weird hours. |
| Only 9 more days until the days begin to get shorter. Thank goodness. This much daylight leaves me drained and so tired. |
