Tell me about your decision to stay put in a neighborhood where you were on the social outs

I’ve never been into making neighborhood friends. Always seemed a recipe for disaster to me.

Instead I prioritize my career and hobbies.

You seem like you’re living in a very small world and overly focused on your neighborhood. It’s a big world out there and you don’t need a different house to experience it.

If you're the kind of person that gets in fights with your neighbors, you'll get in fights anywhere you live, unless you move somewhere extremely secluded.

I’ve noticed this to be true!

As your kids get older, it matters less whether people in the neighborhood get along — everybody gets busy with their lives; some of those kids who are playing together now will break up their friendship in high school; people move on.
