That’s because they changed the way they screen international passengers quite some time ago. It has absolutely nothing to do with the shutdown, genius! |
One of the most cynical comments to date from Graham. He says that Trump should open the government, with the intention of declaring a national emergency in 3 weeks if he can't get his stupid wall by then. Ummm, how is it a "national emergency" if you anticipate "declaring it" three weeks from now???? |
Sssshhhhhh! Let them re-open the gov. Deal with stupid ideas for "emergency" later. |
Record low illegal immigration last year.
Record high Federal employees furloughed right now. Trump shutdown is bad for America. Trump is bad for America. |
Trump is bad. |
This is not true. Most of the furloughed workers are outside of DC area. American farmers also care about the shutdown since it is hurting them. |
Only 15% of federal workers are in the DC metro area (DC, MD, No. VA) |
Yes, but it’s only 800K people out of 320 million. And it has gone on for almost a month. How long do you honestly expect people to care? |
This! It’s a great idea Linds! Totally makes sense to sit on a “national emergency” for 3 weeks before declaring. Let’s do it! |
Nice try. The effects are growing exponentially all across the country. And people blame Trump and his Repub minions. |
Sorry, but no. Airport security lines are short, planes are flying normally, and the National Mall is trash free, contrary to what the Fake News media would have you believe. The President has the upper hand on this one and can easily keep the shutdown going without losing support. In fact, it’s what his base expects and demands. Stand strong, Mr. President! |
Oh yeah, that's totally reflected in those two polls out today. LMAO. |
One third of federal employees are veterans too. Nice reward there, Trumpkins. |
I’m the PP and I’m a Democrat just very pessimistic. I see states like Ohio, Iowa, and Florida completely getting away from D’s, going from swing states to red states, while some of the states you mentioned (AZ, NC, TX, etc.) aren’t turning blue fast enough. I still feel like in 2020 it’s going to come down to less than 100,000 votes in the Midwest again just like 2016. |
Do you really think TSA agents will work forever without pay. That we will just not have an FBI, or an IRS. |
