I could look into both of these issues if you were able to provide the IP addresses that were being used at the time. Many of the complaints in this thread, including yours, come from addresses used by Apple's iCloud Private Relay. I suspect that there may be a problem with Apple's cloud service.
One was a complete copy and paste from another website and the second contained inappropriate language. I am fairly certain that there is no shortage of Columbia threads in that forum in any cse.
While I try to be responsive as the previous poster says, in this case I am probably not going to be. That is a 37 page thread and I don't have the time or interest to read it. The posts that have been reported don't appear to have anything wrong with them as far as i can tell. Perhaps in context of the greater thread, they are problematic, but I am not familiar with that context. The whole dispute seems a bit childish, to be honest. As far as I can tell, posters simply don't agree about whether a fictional scene in a television drama is realistic. That is not a dispute that I want to spend my time refereeing.
I discussed this with our ad partner today and they will be looking into it.
The ads are chosen dynamically so we don't get the same ones. It's also hard to say if there is truly malware being distributed by ads (possible, but not common) or your virus protector providing a false positive. If you know which ad is causing the problem, I can look into it.

Try turning off the iCloud private relay or using a different browser. Maybe the problem is with the cloud?

At any rate, addresses from that range have been used in recent days to post anti-gay posts and anti-Jewish posts. In the second case, more than one. So, I blocked the entire range. I would be eager to hear from you why I should unblock it.
The street address for don miquel is also Reddit HQ.

That also says Don Miquel Mexican Food. It starts from the broadest IP range and then to the more narrow range. The most narrow range in that report is Don Miquel Mexican Food.

Um wow! I am a mom of a trans kid, certainly not who your WHOIS is showing! I was the one who reported the Trans Sport thread in Private Schools a few days ago.
Who is your Internet service provider? I assume that it is not "Don Miquel Mexican Food"?
Its when I'm on the cell network that I'm blocked, not at home on our wifi.
That's even stranger. I have never seen a private company like "Don Miquel Mexican Food" register mobile IP addresses. I'll unblock the range of addresses, but something definitely weird is going on here.
