Trump incorrectly deports Maryland resident, Kilmar Garcia, to foreign prison "can't get him back" despite paying for his incarceration Trump admin admits incorrectly deporting him. No evidence of and criminal activity except for a statement from a "confidential informant". On an asylum visa, fleeing gang violence and extortion, he lived and worked and paid taxes in Maryland for 14 years, with no criminal activity detected. Trump admin deported him to El Salvador prison based on a "confidential informant" claiming he was a gang member. Trump admin says that the El Salvador prison, which Trump admin pays for incarceration services, is an autonomous entity, and that US has no ability to order the man sent back to to US or released from prison. His child is now left fatherless. The "unitary executive" doesn't have control over its own operations. The incompetence, waste, abuse, and cruelty is staggering. |
