Wow no one believes that. American citizens are kidnapped off the street and sent to Gulags with no trial or due process. I remember when the right care about sh#t like this and the constitution.
What US citizen has been “kidnapped off the street and sent to Gulags”?
First they sent the illegal immigrants to a literal concentration camp with no due process and I said nothing, for I was not an illegal immigrant.
Then they sent the legitimate asylum seekers to a literal concentration camp with no due process and I said nothing, for I was not a legitimate asylum seeker.
Then the President went on TV and said he wanted to send US citizens to a literal concentration camp and I said "don't worry, I'm pretty sure I know how the rest of this goes - he stops there and everything is OK, right?"
Being a citizen means something. I know you and yours don’t know the difference between legal, illegal and a citizen, but they are worlds apart from each other.
Despite your feelings, any noncitizen here in the United States is a guest. And as a guest they need to know that they can be removed.
You must have missed the white house press conference where they proposed sending *American citizens* to prison in El Salvador.
But why? Under what grounds would a random US citizen be sent there?
An accusation that someone vandalized a Tesla seems to be all they need to ship you off to the gulag.

Because Sauron the Orange doesn't like you. Like Hillary. Or Charlie Krebs. Or Marc Elias. Or literally hundreds of others.

What exactly does being a citizen mean when ICE abducts you, puts you on a plane to El Salvador with ZERO due process, and locks you in a prison nobody has ever left, controlled by a dictator who has refused to release a prisoner that the Supreme Court has ordered returned?
You can say "oh they would never do that to a citizen" all you want but do you really not understand how stupid that makes you sound when the President is literally saying that's exactly what he wants to do? What exactly do you think is stopping him from doing it? The Supreme Court who he is right this very minute openly defying on this very same issue? Impeachment when his party controls all of Congress? Common decency and respect for the Constituion and laws of this country? That's the most far fetched of all.

Anonymous wrote:Not just for the money. Not just for the attention and fame. It's because one of the (actual) MS-13 gang members sent to CECOT was about to expose Bukele for the deal-making fraud that he is. He is not the "coolest dictator," he is a criminal who negotiates with terrorists.
For years, Bukele negotiated in secret with the gang leaders. He granted favors, reduced sentences, even freed them while they continued to ravage the country. During those years, Bukele maintained a secret pact with gangs—including MS-13—that lasted through three massacres! After each massacre, Bukele would arrest lower level people and continue meetings with the higher levels.
Well, Bukele got Trump to hand over one of the big MS-13 leaders, a man the US had chased, had extradited from Mexico, and was about to convict : César Humberto López Larios. He is one of the real high-up people, but guess what? he was released from prison by Bukele. This guy López Larios was about to testify in a New York court about his deals with the Salvadoran government, and thus ruin Bukele's reputation. He is probably already dead and a message has been sent to anyone else who thought about talking.
You are free to use google and corroborate but here are two respected Spanish language newspapers.

Judge Xinis "was holding off at this juncture on deciding whether the government should be held in contempt but would still rule down the road.
For now, the judge ordered the administration to respond to interrogatories and document production requests. She also ordered the four government officials who signed affidavits in the case to sit for depositions by April 23, giving Abrego Garcia’s lawyers a chance to question key immigration officials in the administration."
More from the judge:
Xinis suggested a fast pace for the depositions and review of discovery — something that would ultimately put her on a path to determining whether to hold anyone from the Trump administration in contempt. “We’re going to move. There will be no tolerance for gamesmanship and grandstanding,” she said. “There are no business hours while we do this — there are going to be two intense weeks of discovery,” she added later.

She is fishing for a contempt charge but not accomplishing anything. Note how she doesn’t outright say what she wants DOJ to do as per “facilitate”. She knows the minute she gets specific DOJ will appeal claiming article 11 powers.
She has asked them what they have done to comply with the opinion of the Supreme Court. She is under no obligation to give a definition at this point
lol she is the judge who was told by SCOTUS to clarify the order with deference to executive power! Didn’t you read the order?

He's not an innocent man. He was here illegally, found to be an MS-13 gang member twice. He had a hearing and an appeal. He was under court order to self-deport. He failed to do so. He is a citizen of El Salvador, not the U.S.. The gang he claimed to be threatened by if he returned to El Salvador no longer exists, nor does the overall situation in that country. His removal under US State Department Policy IS a military action and is not subject to judicial review. Understand?
Not one thing you said is true. Not a single one.

Democrats hate that.
Trump takes bribes at any time. All you have to do is make a deposit.
If you're a Federal level GOP or Dem politician, you are a bought and paid for tool of the wealthy and powerful financial backers of our awful two major political parties. Some are more useful tools (Graham/Schumer) than others (AOC) but they're all tools to some degree. Trump was actually an outsider to this toxic swamp culture in 2016 but now he is the stinkiest swamp creature ever. Even Biden is an ethical angel next to Trump.
Anonymous wrote:The subject line says it all. ICE has been in empowered to act like the Gestapo and taking people literally off the streets. At this point anyone could wear an ICE vest and kidnap somebody in the atmosphere that we are living in right now. People are being arrested for protesting, which is a first amendment right. And he has commented off-line that maybe others or next for being sent to foreign prisons. And those are just a few offensive things he's done. We're not even talking about his colluding with with Russia and what about the top secret documents that were in his bathroom at Mar-a-Lago after his first term?
I'm talking about basic human rights. Are Republicans and MAGA truly OK with our country becoming an authoritarian, fascist country?

What is ridiculous is Trump still going on about that Olympic boxer WHO IS A WOMAN.

He is following Putin’s playbook:
- grab power
- put your friends in all important government positions
- amend the constitution to be re-elected (working on 3rd term)
- get rid of independent media (watch for that next)
- invade neighbouring sovereign countries
