I didn't even know that dollar stores sold pregnancy tests! Another options is to find a center that provides free pregnancy testing near your house!
I started out with a half day schedule before fully staying home about three weeks before due date
My son goes by a nick name, and I think its more appropriate to personalize with the full first name
Both my husband and I WAH/SAH however you want to put it. The first year I chose to stay home, my husband was only on a 34k salary and we had a home business that was slowly growing. This past year we made about 110k. In 2011 our income will be substantially more, around 500k but regardless of what level our income, we've lived within our means allowing a few splurges from time to time. I have one son who is two, who was born with severe asthma and food allergies so I sacrificed our expensive wants for the health of our son. We've been blessed living in such an expensive region; I currently live in Waldorf, MD hopefully looking to build my dream home in Northern Maryland soon...I've earned it
Mothers Milk Tea can be found at GNC. It has herbs that naturally increase your milk flow. Good Luck
My son had sensitive skin and eczema...Eucerin Oil Wash was recommended by his dermotologist for the dry, sensitive skin. We later moved on to Dove Sensitive.
You are absolutely right about church with a little one being exhausting. I come from a church where babies and small children were in their own class, but my husband is Catholic and his church doesnt have that. Its so hard to focus on the service because I typically spend most of the time trying to keep my won reasonably quiet with snacks. Around 5 months, he typically did well as long as I had a bottle and he could sleep about halfway through church. At two years old now I will say that its much harder now that he's both mobile AND has decided that he wants to talk during Mass! Good Luck....and pack bottles, snacks, pacifiers and quiet toys!
The best item I put on my list were both the open and closed boppy pillows!! They both have so many great uses, though I have to say I like the full closed pillow the best. I still find uses for them today and My son is two years old. I typically like to give these as a gift now because they've been so useful to me and the reasonable price point...about $40
I've included a link to the bassinet I choose. It was very sturdy, and my son slept well in it. It saved space that was limited at the time, because it served as a bassinet, changing table, and moses basket. The baskets at the bottom were also great for storage, and easy access to extra clothes during night time changes those first few months!

It could definitely be a stomach bug, or possibly a food allergy if she has eaten anything out of the ordinary
For my husbands 25th birthday I decided to make a champagne punch, much like the sangria someone mentioned before. Using your husbands favorite wine, if he has one is a great touch. This type of drink seemed more personal and all of our guests enjoyed it.
Unless your married to a food critic or wolfgang puck, I seriously doubt your husband will compare your love for him or even notice that you used 100% lime juice from a bottle or spent 30minutes squeezing it fresh. You can always garnish with real limes later. Good Luck!
I have been in the position where my husband was consumed with business when we had a very new baby. I felt a lot like I was overwhelmed with my new responsibilities, my old ones as a wife, and yes having a new baby takes a major toll on a marriage. Lets face it, our men no matter how important they are in the corporate world, want to feel needed and wanted at home as well. I dont want to pass judgement on your husband or your marriage because I dont know either of you and I dont have the right. It sounds as if your husband is under a lot of stress and is misdirecting it at you. Perhaps he's angry that he cant spend that time with you and your children now because of work pressure and is dealing with it all wrong, as men often do. I will say that I can sort of understand him wanting to spend the time he does have available with his family without added guests though he was totally irrational expecting to do this when his incorrect scheduling is a conflict today. You guys def. need to talk so that you can tell him just how his actions and attitudes are making you feel. Hopefully he will take your needs into consideration for the good of your family and simply because he loves his wife. If not, that is a serious problem.
I certainly feel your pain...my son is 2 and is allergic to milk, eggs, soy, beef, and sheelfish......thats pretty much every food right?! So I've had to become creative when it comes to finding meals that not only pass the picky toddler test, but that are safe for his allergies. Right now, his favorite foods include veggie chips for snacks, chicken apple sausage or mango chicken sausage, veggie noodles...he likes Wacky Noodles brand...they are infused with carrot, spinach, and beets! Also he LOVES Green Machine Smoothie by Naked. You can find similar products in other brands and they taste basically the same. I also have learned to sneak fruits and veggies into the foods he loves...like creating adding jar food carrots to ketchup or pasta sauce. Good luck!

I'm beginning to wonder if its the same person who is posting these irrelevant, nasty messages in the forums. If this is so, why don't you register so that you aren't being an anonymous smart alec and we can all see exactly who you are.
