My DD, 6 1/2 months old just vomited (solid food) in her crib. She has had a low appetite all day. no fever. stomach bug? are mom and dad likely to get it? She's asleep now...but now what? Thank you for the advice!

My 15 month old puked once the week before Christmas first thing in the morning and then was mostly ok after that. Slightly decreased appetite for a day or so but other than that, totally fine. DH and I got it and got different versions - he threw up all night, I had diarrhea and no appetite. It took us a good 4-5 days to feel human again.

It could be a stomach bug. My daughter had a stomach bug once with no fever. She did have diarrhea though and like your DD, no appetite. Luckily, my husband and I did not get the bug. I was quite shocked about that actually, since I always seem to get every freakin' bug my DD brings home from daycare. It generally takes about 24-48 hours for the vomiting to stop and longer for the diarrhea to subside. If it takes longer than 48 hours, definitely take her in to see her pediatrician. With one bug my DD got, she was still vomiting 3 days later. They gave her a Zofran so she could at least keep down liquids at that point, and that was the end of that. The diarrhea hung around for a week though.

DS vomited all over, was weak and clammy that night, but no fever. No appetite the next day and diarrhea, but otherwise fine. 3 days later my husband and other child got really sick with the stomach flu.

It could definitely be a stomach bug, or possibly a food allergy if she has eaten anything out of the ordinary

Norovirus is definitely going around.
