How to age like Gwyneth Paltrow?

Per the other preventative maintenance thread, I have always thought GP was very beautiful and appreciate how she seems to be willing to discuss the hard work that goes into her beauty and health routine.

From reading her books and website, she attributes the following to her health and wellness:

- Strict, nutrient dense diet. No gluten, no sugars or bad fats. Yearly fasts and juice cleanses to aid in detoxing her body
- Strict exercise regimen. She does not believe in endless running or lifting heavy. She is a huge advocate of yoga, Pilates and Tracey Anderson Method. She credits it with her thin toned physique that isn't overly bulky. She works out for 2 hours a day 6 days a week if I recall.

Various cosmetic procedures. She is obsessed with skincare and and probably does lots of procedures. I do not recall her mentioning specific treatments she's done except recently acknowledging that she does botox.

I think she is aging so beautifully. Looks so fresh and healthy.

How does she keep her neck and jaw so tight?

Be rich. Get a really good plastic surgeon and derm. Be rich.

This is the only answer that matters. If you're not super wealthy, you're not going to age like she has.

I remember reading about these vampire facials she got before her wedding. They were around $2k?

I'm not convinced she actually follows that diet though

Some of it's genetic.

Her skin/aging looks average for someone her age.

Her body: fantastic, but she also works with personal trainers, etc. So much easier to maintain when you have the money.

And never be fat. The gaining and losing a lot of women do makes their skin sag

She's a known drinker and smoker.

I truly don't think she's aging that well. Her skin is much more wrinkled than so many women I know of the same age.

Her mother is naturally thin, tall. She has her mother's frame.

Aside from being thin, she looks older than most women her age. Heavy wrinkles, puffy eyes, washed out face-she’s aging horribly.

I know she isn't popular here, but I also think she beautiful, OP. Her body is perfect, exactly the type I'd love to have. And for nearly 50, I think her face looks fantastic.

Sandra Bullock, Andie McDowell and Salma Hayek on the other hand, wow!

Oh come on. NP here. She does not look “older than most women her age.” Lol. She wears very light make up, and so maybe that’s what you’re seeing when you say “washed out.” Maybe you’re used to women wearing heavily made up faces?
