How to age like Gwyneth Paltrow?

You sound very ugly. As does the ageist POS who thinks the red shirt is “frilly” (learn what words mean, PP) and too young for her.

PPs talking about having therapy/psychological help and exercising as we age and live are right on. And hell, maybe a lower facelift. As are the women who see GP and JLo as beautiful. The rest is a lot of horseshit by woman who clearly don’t look good and don’t see the world rationally, even a little bit.

You seem irrationally angry at ppl who expressed opinions. Everyone isn’t going to think the same as you. Maybe you’re ugly and/or old and it’s making you defensive. You’re right that therapy will help.

Yes, the most beautiful and serene women use “old” as an insult, not idiots trying to tuck their FUPAs into sale-rack jeggings.

Sexist garbage is just that, it’s not “a difference of opinion.” You could not sound more pathetic if you tried, but we both know you’re going to try.

I can feel your blood boiling through the Internet. It’s sad. “Old” is not an insult but you sure seem to think it is, given your defensiveness. Many women age gracefully and are beautiful in old age but I’m afraid that’s not you or GP.

An incel has found the thread. Ignore him, PP!

I think GP looks good, but as far as celebrities go, I think I'd rather age like Reese Witherspoon, who is only two years younger than GP. I think Reese looks much younger for her age than GP.

These threads make me so sad. Women are so harsh to other women.

And hold up women like GP as role models, who, as others have pointed out, is a rich person who's whole life is wrapped up in her appearance. And selling other people crap. That's not real life for 99% of people. Not what I'm looking for in a role model.

I think she's aging normally and doesn't look fake and full of Botox, but I don't think she looks younger than her age.

She is only 50. She looks great and I would say she looks her age.

This. And like her look because I think she looks her age, just good for her age. I think Jennifer Lopez and Sandra Bullock and some of the others mentioned on here also look amazing, but part of that is just being absolutely stunned at their age because they look much younger. Especially because generally when you see them, they are pretty made up, likely wearing wigs or hair pieces, usually in clothes with some degree of sculpting, etc. They still look great! But that's not achievable or inspiring for me.

But Paltrow looks like an attractive, healthy, woman in her late 40s. That is inspiring. I know some of it absolutely is due to a combo of genetics and access to very expensive procedures. But I also think some of it is just maintaining her weight and embracing her looks. She doesn't try too hard. She doesn't wear a ton of makeup, she keeps her hair natural looking (obviously an expensive bleach and tone but no extensions or anything), she wears expensive versions of pretty normal clothes, not that different than what I wear day to day. So even though I'll never get Botox because I could never afford the upkeep, I can still kind of emulate Paltrow in other ways by being selective about what I choose to work on (staying fit, taking care of my skin) versus what I don't worry about (making my skin or hair look *perfect*). I feel like she's a pretty good roll model for women in our 40s because her look is not so out of reach as to be comical. It's aspirational but also relatively practical.

This.

She is also more "accessible" in the sense that she is generally pretty open about the maintenance and upkeep required to achieve her looks. She has literally written guide books with her exact diet and fitness routine. In addition, she is now opening up about botox as well.

While I obviously do not have her resources, I too try to "eat clean" as she does and prioritize my mental and physical health. She has been very inspirational.

She just skips the part where she's had lower face lift, so that you can buy into her BS about being all natural because, she kept her crow's feet.

No, she's 46, 4 years younger. I think in the late 40s every year makes a big difference, as you go deeper into the menopause transition.

Look at her live interviews; she is not aging particularly well at all despite all the money in the world. She is fair, smoked and drank and sunbathed now looks pretty well worn even more than some women her age. I look younger than she does by a lot. She uses Botox and fillers and dermabrasion and peels; it’s only partially effective. She also knows her camera angles and these photos are posed and airbrushed. My body looks as good as or better than hers too, she has a very boyish figure.

No one asked about your body or looks. How insecure do you have to be to go onto an anonymous message board and brag about your body?

How insecure do you have o be to compare your aging process to a celebrity's in the first place? That's how he OP was framed, that's how it was answered. I DNGAF about this brainless twat or her juice cleanses.

Lol I too am a fair blonde who tanned WAY too much, smoked and drank too much, and am fearing that fall off the menopause cliff

I think she’s aging ok considering she is very pale and blonde. I’ve seen older women of darker complexions blow her out of the water.
