How to age like Gwyneth Paltrow?

I really don't think she looks all that great for her age.

For the record I think I'm aging better than she is as well. Money can't buy you good genes...not yet at least 😉

Damn, people are really cruel about her looks. I think she is beautiful. I think her skin looks great for a woman with fair skin. Yes, I have seen women that are 50 and look much younger, but usually they are dark brown or black skin women that take care of their skin. Higher melanin + good care (sun block, good moisturizers and serums) = younger looking skin. My neighbor's mother looks about 10 years younger, but is always wearing this huge visor and long sleeves when she walks outside. My neighbor told me that she has tried to avoid the sun her whole life. That works too, but man I love the beach.

I think people are deluded about age, maybe that included GP. Her mother was only six years older in Meet the Parents, that's 50s good.

I truly don't think she's aging that well. Her skin is much more wrinkled than so many women I know of the same age.

Her mother is naturally thin, tall. She has her mother's frame.

Goop claims to smoke just one cigarette per week. Not sure how much she drinks but doubt she overindulges. Agree, Blythe Danner has a great body and bone structure, she looks great whatever her age is.

She is not aging gracefully. This is beyond sad and embarrassing.

I think it's fine. She also looks very good here.

Every single photo you posted is photoshopped. Gwyneth IRL doesn’t look nearly as good as she does in photos. I’ve seen her.

You too would look amazing under perfect lighting and with expert photoshopping.

From reading her books and website, she attributes the following to her health and wellness:

- Strict, nutrient dense diet. No gluten, no sugars or bad fats. Yearly fasts and juice cleanses to aid in detoxing her body
- Strict exercise regimen. She does not believe in endless running or lifting heavy. She is a huge advocate of yoga, Pilates and Tracey Anderson Method. She credits it with her thin toned physique that isn't overly bulky. She works out for 2 hours a day 6 days a week if I recall.

Various cosmetic procedures. She is obsessed with skincare and and probably does lots of procedures. I do not recall her mentioning specific treatments she's done except recently acknowledging that she does botox.

I think she is aging so beautifully. Looks so fresh and healthy.

Inherit good genes of looks, health, fame, connections and wealth etc. Good things would naturally fall into your lap.

She’s got implants. And she has the ability to workout 2 hours a day with personal trainers. Anybody would have the same results. Add to that the lower stress levels that come from having money.

I think the question/answer is tacky but agree she looks fantastic here.

I think she has work done on her jaw line to keep it from wagging and I would LOVE to know what. She's always had a sharp jaw line (sharper than mine) but my number one age tell is a slight sag at me jaw. Would be curious if she has had a lower face lift or is able to get that definition with less invasive procedures.

Absolutely everyone in America in their 50s who is not chasing a toddler can find time to exercise. That's not being classist. It doesn't take long to stretch, lift some heavy things, and choose the stairs over the elevator. And if you can't, that's choices made.

Paltrow is a strawberry blonde with very fair skin. That's her challenge. And she seems to be doing very well. She looks good for someone with her skin type at the age of 54. And I can assure you, being in the public eye 24/7 and having to perform on sets with all the investments that have gone into you being there with a huge crew on hand and knocking it out is plenty stressful, even if the paycheck is good.

She's aging well considering she's a very pale blonde, and perhaps didn't take care of her skin when she was young.

But I think the main reason people think she's still attractive isn't just her reasonably slim figure or her reasonably good skin condition, it's that her facial features are bland enough to do well in old age. She doesn't have a strong nose that drooped into a witch's nose, she doesn't have a lot of cheek fat that turned into jowls, her lips haven't disappeared, etc. And that's just genetics.

I do wonder if she's had subtle work done.

I'm pretty convinced she has had a deep plane facelift. Here's a plastic surgeon talking about it
