How to age like Gwyneth Paltrow?

You sound very ugly. As does the ageist POS who thinks the red shirt is “frilly” (learn what words mean, PP) and too young for her.

PPs talking about having therapy/psychological help and exercising as we age and live are right on. And hell, maybe a lower facelift. As are the women who see GP and JLo as beautiful. The rest is a lot of horseshit by woman who clearly don’t look good and don’t see the world rationally, even a little bit.

You seem irrationally angry at ppl who expressed opinions. Everyone isn’t going to think the same as you. Maybe you’re ugly and/or old and it’s making you defensive. You’re right that therapy will help.

Yes, the most beautiful and serene women use “old” as an insult, not idiots trying to tuck their FUPAs into sale-rack jeggings.

Sexist garbage is just that, it’s not “a difference of opinion.” You could not sound more pathetic if you tried, but we both know you’re going to try.

I can feel your blood boiling through the Internet. It’s sad. “Old” is not an insult but you sure seem to think it is, given your defensiveness. Many women age gracefully and are beautiful in old age but I’m afraid that’s not you or GP.

I wasn’t defensive. It’s hard for you to see, because you’re an asshole who thinks she can smarm her way out of being a trashy, bitter chick with shithead views. Nope.

I’m white and don’t understand it either.

Black people are obsessed with tearing her down, and I get it. But in reality she's an attractive looking 48 year old even if they think she's too white, too skinny and blonde.

The skin on her body looks quite sun damaged but to her credit she doesn’t seem to ‘shop her Instagram pics. She does peels etc on her face, which doesn’t look bad at all. She’s not going to be to the taste of those who don’t like skinny blondes who wear more casual clothing and little makeup.

Which of the photos are shocking? She’s pale and not young. IJS.

Looks good from the neck down. Neck up was never great and certainly isn't now- smoking/sun exposure.

She reads very average upper class mom to me- like someone who does Peloton and goes to Millies. Totally fine and pretty but nothing to try to copy.

Unless you, too, are thin and white and a middle-aged mom, in which case her look is attainable. Thus, her appeal.

Listen, I love Beyonce too, but I'm never going to look like Beyonce. Getting style and beauty tips from Goop makes sense for me because I am basically a low rent version of her.

It blows my mind that anyone would want to look like this woman.

Yes, a true master

There is literally nothing about her looks that I envy. Her hair is lank and stringy. Her skin is greasy. Her eyes are completely unremarkable. She’s not necessarily ugly but she’s utterly meh. There are famous women I’d love to look like but Paltrow is not one of them.

I feel the same way. Actually I think the same about many high-level celebrities and even supermodels. I see Heidi Klum, and I'm like, "What?" I mean I get that these women are tall and slender, but I don't find them remarkable looking in the least. I see natural beauties in my neighborhood who exude more attractiveness than many "gorgeous" celebrities.

Thought I’d revive this thread given the recent kerfuffle over her diet discussion. She’s not wearing makeup at all here I think but I was still surprised at her looks, she looks exhausted to me even as a 50 year old white woman who is partially dyed blonde:

But who wouldn't be with that joyless routine. Classic wealthy woman with nothing to do but scrub her own skin raw.
