Dems supported the peaceful protests and criticized where the looting and property damage took place. |
I guarantee you that no Democrats think the right wing caused riots were a good thing. The protests were just fine. Project 2025 would make it illegal to protest or use our First Amendment rights in any way, much like how the GOP is already giving preferential treatment and tax dollars to religious schools and forcing public schools to teach the Bible. |
Whatever. He was 31 and this happened in 1995, almost 30 years ago. Has it happened since? Recently? Is there a pattern of this behavior? He doesn't even drink now. There's no record he said anything about poor hearing to the cop at the time of the incident, BTW. I assume that was some spin given during an election campaign. I agree it sounds like he was drunk driving and he's damn lucky he didn't cause an accident. But it also sounds like it was a one time thing, and MANY MANY politicians have much worse substance abuse issues than that; he's apologized and learned from it, and drinks no more. Meanwhile, Trump's payoff hush money? No that wasn't potentially life threatening to anyone. But it was hugely more relevant because it was part of a pattern of contempt for the law, it was in 2016 RIGHT before the election! And also he was 70 at the time, not 31. Did Trump apologize? Say he was wrong for doing it? |
The couch one was made up, the dolphin fetish is real. |
Biden wouldn't have encouraged people to drink bleach or eat dewormer as a COVID strategy. The party of Joe Rogan, Alex Jones, and weird supplements on the other hand was all about that kind of thing. |
Dems also support the ideas behind BLM even if it's come out that the actual BLM org was a bunch of grifters. It doesn't change the fact that acknowledging that far too many police use lethal force against POCs is a problem. |
Oh that's not the worst we have on Vance. There's so, so, so very much dirt on him! Starting with all the bad things he ever said about Trump, very recently. |
This would be one of the posts we’ll all think of when we talk about how weird the GOP has gotten. |
Exactly! That’s my point. We have many “socialist” programs. They are good for our economy and our people. Which is why people who criticize Walz (and others) for being a “socialist”need to stop and think about what policies they are objecting to. My guess is that the folks who are so angry about “socialist” politicians are happy to collect their disability checks and complain loudly about potholes not being fixed. |
Trump never did this. Either show the quotes (hahah made myself laugh. There are no quotes) or stop with this ridiculous nonsense. You are flat out lying with this one. |
There are 6 people per square mile in that county. You're just making stuff up. |
And some of them, like our current Vice president, proceeded to bail out the rioters. |
He would have followed the pandemic playbook that had been created by W and updated by Obama rather than tossing it out and ignoring it. He would not have closed the State Department health office in Wuhan that was there specifically for this purpose. He would not have told people to take horse paste (which probably cost about 18,000 deaths per recent reports) I could go on, but yes, there were a lot of things Trump could have done to minimize the damage. |
You want to do this again? ![]() |
