Was it not one of her parents that she was talking with on the phone from the back of the police car?

Wouldn’t that still be at least manslaughter? If you could get away Scottfree the Mob would all be Boy Scouts.

Uhhhh, what? 🤔

Maybe they weren't aware of the ongoing investigation. She posted her video on Reddit just yesterday. That's when the trail was closed and the search began. Days turned to weeks, who knows if she was still alive.

If this was 1995, she wouldn’t have even had that video or heard about the case until years later when someone recalled the weird story of the dead hiker and she said she’d been around that area too.

In my mind she’s a hero and was able to give this family closure they wouldn’t have gotten for decades otherwise.

Because really - the police were searching Utah and Idaho. Wyoming wasn’t even on the radar. And even if it was - the park where her body was found is 310,000 acres!

A goddamned hero.

I agree.

I agree and hope their gofundme for mental health well exceeds their goal.

Isn't this the same area that BL also blabbered about to the TikTok poster who picked him up hitch hiking ?

So, he dumped her in there and then tried to hike out and hitch to create an alibi- so calculated. Odd that a person could snap but then be so calculated.

You would think if he snapped he would have just killed himself right then or shortly after or turned himself in, right ?

Instead, he carries on this ruse and makes up a story. Maybe he planned to kill her.

So , so creepy

They should be charged as accessories after the fact. 2-5 years in state prison will do nicely.

Oh, if I were Gabby's parents I'd square this one myself

Anybody see this story? A video from early in trip shows Brian reading sci fi book "Annihilation" which features women disappearing.

I am not familiar with the book or movie

JFC. No.

PP, the FBI agent was shaking and the statement refers to finding remains and having to go back for " more remains" - what does that sound like he did to her to you ?

She’s been in woods exposed to the elements for weeks. Animals likely got to her.

She's been out in the elements for nearly a month. If you don't think she's badly decomposed and possibly picked over by animals you'd be kidding yourself. What she looks like now and what he did to her may not look the same at this point.

I just saw this news and I can’t wrap my head around it. She seemed like such a happy, smiling young woman with her whole life ahead of her. I hope her family is able to eventually find peace. And I hope her murderer never does.

I hope he messed up doing it and is in a lot of pain, but I think he's probably somewhere where he can't be extradited to the US.

If someone did this to my daughter, I would probably not be able to refrain from doing something vengeful to them.
