Am I the only one confused as to why this video is blowing up in controversy? Everyone's outraged and Nike's suing the company that launched a line of linked 'Satan' shoes.
|
| For the record I love the song and video but it seems the lyrics and visuals of the song are no more sexualized than Cardi B's WAP and the theme no more heretical than Billie Eilish's ALL GOOD GIRLS GO TO HELL. |
| It’s because he’s gay. The content depicted in the video involves two men kissing and people are big mad about it. |
| I love this song and video. Straight white people have been doing stuff like this forever and no one bats an eye. It gives me hope for a more accepting society that a song like this (graphicness aside) has made it into mainstream music. |
| It is blatant Satanism. Must not be many church goers anymore. |
| This statement from Lil Nas X is very powerful: "“you see this is very scary for me, people will be angry, they will say i’m pushing an agenda,” he continued. “but the truth is, i am. the agenda to make people stay the f--- out of other people’s lives and stop dictating who they should be." |
And how are videos that promote adultery, cheating, whoring, and infidelity any less than 'Satanism'? What about videos set in Hell? |
Oh word? |
| I like it, great song, love Lil Nas X pushing the gay male agenda forward into people’s faces. What are they gonna say, it’s ok for women to writhe around pretending but not men? The dam broke and they gave women awards for it, let’s get it boys. |
I'm a church goer, I'm not bothered by this. At worst, it's trolling. The actual devil doesn't care about shoes that say 666 on them, he does care about keeping you from loving your neighbor. That's Satanism, not some shoes or a music video. |
| The thing is, it is still shamed upon in the African American community to be a gay black male. White people are ok with the whole non-binary, them terms, etc but that shit does not fly in the damn hood. |
Oh air? The |
Thank you. |
Oh, honey. Satan isn’t real. |
