Churchill is an excellent MD public school team, but that makes them an average team in the DMV. There is a great divide between public and private school teams in the DMV.

OMG -WTH? High school spots are suppossed to be compeitive. This isnt an elemetray aged rec league, PP. Get off your high horse.

You are just upset because a private school showed how bad public school lax really is in this area. This is not NY or NJ where a pubic school can compete in the big leagues. All of you public school parents have been coming on this thread crowing about how good Churchill is and now cant handle the reality that it isnt a good lacrosse team. Your compaints are nothing but sor grapes.

To be honest, private school lacrosse is not really all that good either.... Gonzaga, Landon and Bullis are good, very good, excellent. But the rest are many Tiers below, maybe a fraction of a tier above Churchill but really not that far off.

So yes, Churchilll sucks compared to Gonzaga, Landon and Bullis but they are pretty equal or close to STA, St. Andrews, Potomac School, Heights, Episcopal, SSSA, Damatha.

But going back to the 10:48 poster, WOW, just WOW. Are you a teen, or are you really a parent. Because if you are indeed a parent, God help you and anyone who must come in contact with you, including your poor kids. I agree with a PP that yes these are kids, albeit high school kids. WTH??? Why come down so harshly on a public school team that is trying its best to compete?

Of course HS sports are supposed to be competitive. Where in my post did I complain about how good Landon was? My complaint was about your attitude towards degrading other players. You are the type of lacrosse parent that makes it unbearable to sit in the stands and watch a game. You probably sit there and criticize every kid on your team who makes a mistake. Seen you before at lacrosse tournaments going nuts at every bad referee call like each game is the national championship. Lacrosse is a great game but parents like you are making it a game to avoid and you are exhibit "A."
