If the family supports this kind of BS and puts the victim's family through more gried, then I don't feel an ounce of sympathy for them.

I lost a little sympathy for her family based on her brother's question, "Why did you fight that girl?" This wasn't simply a fight. The question should have been, "Why did you kill Jayna?", or along those lines. This wasn't just a girl and this wasn't a fight.

Probably because Norwood said that Jayna started the fight.

And I just have this feeling that what is going through her mind right now as she sits in jail is not "Gosh, why did I do that, how could I have killed Jayna?" but rather "Well, she shouldn't have checked my bags and snitched on me." Such entitlement, it makes me sick.

Oh come on. You don't know the context of the question. He was probably trying to ask the question in a way that she would actually be willing to answer. If he asked her why she murdered Jayna, she probably would have shut him down. He did the right thing. Give the family a break.

This woman had hate in her soul. She ambushed the poor innocent victim. And no one wants to call it what it is. I am boycotting Lululemon, personally.

How did the murderer know so much about setting up a crime to begin with? No one else finds this interesting?

Major civil suit! Hopefully this will be a lesson to companies. It is unfortunate, but many people in minority demographics get a hall pass for fear of a discrimination lawsuit. You all can argue this (and I'm sure you will), but you KNOW it is true.

When things like this happen, everyone looks for a reason or someone to blame because it makes it easier to sleep at night. However, the only person to blame for this murder is Brittany Norwood.

Yes you are correct but there are other things that could have occurred to AVOID this tragedy and Lululemon is to blame. Jayna should not have been in the position along to deal with this girl especially since the company knew she had an issue with stealing and obviously did not care about getting caught. If it is their policy to have one person confront an individual with a crime (and most places there need to be two people so there is an independent witness) they have a terrible policy!

I don't know the Murray family, but they didn't seem the type to file a civil suit against the company. They seem more concerned honoring their daughter's memory through her foundation -

The Murray family has set up the Jayna Troxel Murray Foundation, with this address: P.O. Box 9492, The Woodlands, TX 77387. A family member stated that the foundation funds will “be dedicated to promote those things that were a priority to Jayna: education, travel, athletics, fine arts, and overall personal improvement.

They really seem to be a class act of a family, handling this horrid situation with divine grace.

This murder is only a week out. The poor girl is not even cold in the ground yet. THey will sue when the dust settles. I'd bet money on it.

Just because they take the company to civil court does not take away from their class or grace. They will sue to hopefully blaze a path so Lululemon makes better decisions for future employees and teach them a lesson.

This actually confuses me. Articles say Jayna called the manager. So, did she then confront Brittany? Why? How did Brittany even find out Jayna knew about the merchandise?

I am not sure. Somebody said the store may have had a policy where the senior person has to check bags at the end of the night. I wonder if Jayna checked, asked Brittany about it and she denied it or whatever and they both left. Then Jayna called the manager. Meanwhile, Brittany is getting nervous and decides to call Jayna back to the store. I guess that's how I see the timeline, though I am not sure.

I think Brittany knew Jayna had found the merchandise (or at least suspected) and knew Jayna would be telling the manager about it. However, she might not have known that Jayna already had called the manager (since she called after they closed up the store and had left). So Brittany lured Jayna back to either 1) confront her and try to talk her out of telling the manager, or 2) kill her so she couldn't tell the manager. Or it is could have been a combination of the two (e.g., promise me you won't tell or I'll hurt/kill you), and Jayna said no way. Fight/argument ensues.
