Soccer
| Saw a tweet from a local club showing their coaches getting vaccinated. Meanwhile, the staff at the local 7-11 and Safeway haven’t gotten their vaccinations. |
| Is this question even real? Hellz no. Soccer is that more important. |
That is not how distribution is working in Virginia unless these are really old or high-health-risk people. |
If this is about the Potomac tweet, she is a teacher... |
Lots more people are getting vaccinated, including Safeway and 7-11 employees. Anybody dealing with public can and should get vaccinated. These are city and county determinations. |
Seems like a troll bait post not based on fact. |
If it’s your turn to get it, as determined by the state, then you should go get it. I would not be as happy if my kid’s coach or teacher passed on the vaccine and then got covid while waiting at the back of the line, if they were able to get a workable vaccine later. |
| Many coaches are also teachers. |
|
So disturbed!! My f@cking 77-year old mother (local) had her vaccination cancelled and these healthy 20-30 something coaches are getting vaccinated.
Wtf?!?!!! Coaches of optional kids’ sport, not even teachers!! Not to mention I’m 50, a parent of 2 and can’t get vaccinated until the summer most likely. |
+1. Coaching is a part-time job. Some coaches can be teachers, doctors, nurses, etc. |
I saw this on a club’s social media. |
Many of these were full time coaches. |
All of the coaches at a Club? Not. And knowing many of them personally. Also, not. |
Take my spot. I am in the same position. Honestly people. All the whining. It’s a scarce resource that we are all really lucky to have. Be patient and not so resentful. Hope you never end up in my lifeboat. |
If they weren’t healthcare, teachers or over 65 (group 1b), they threw grandma overboard and stepped on grandpas head to climb into the life boat. That’s cheating and unethical. |
