He was serving in the National Guard at that time- why was he allowed to keep his career? DUI/DWI is a career ending event.

How about rape?

Don’t ask, don’t tell.

In 1999, Walz agreed to be the faculty advisor of the first gay-straight alliance at Mankato West High School. In the 90s, when it wasn't easy. He said something to the effect that of course he would do it, since the backing of the straight, older, football coach should show others that being an ally was the right thing to do.

That's real f'in leadership.

Am I the only one who thinks of Little House on the Prairie anytime someone says Mankato?

Who cares about a student club he sponsored at a HS almost 30 years ago. That has no relationship to his qualifications for Vice President.

Pandering to the left wing of the party, solid move.

Because the anti-Israel activists in the party would have gone even more crazy due to Shapiro’s presence on the ticket. So don’t be at all surprised when the late night Philly magic doesn’t happen on election night.

I’m sorry. That’s just a really weird conclusion. And a really bitter tone.

Honey, you are so desperate. You have spent the entire day writing posts about Governor Shapiro as though he had been wronged. There were several people on that list. You don't care about them?

The Republicans are very upset that Harris went with the most magnetic and pragmatic choice and, after dropping hints it was going to be Shapiro, slapped the GOP around by not going with him. And after they spent all that time and money coming up with various antisemtic attacks and now they don’t get to use them!

A DUI that can kill, maim, or destroy a life is no big deal but paying a porn star her bill of service is a big deal?

Harris could have chosen Reagan’s ghost and you’d be saying the same thing. You’ve repeated this attack so often that it no longer has any punch.

Do you not understand what Trump’s 34 felony convictions are for? He wasn’t paying a sex worker for sex, he was paying her to keep quiet so he could win an election. And now he’s a convicted felon.

So if you’re against socialism, then you support ending social security and Medicare, right?

I’m fine with them. Pretty sure they’ve been around for longer than I have, and we are not a socialist country.
But good try.

Pp here. I support them as well. But they are “socialist” policies. I’m tired of people saying how much they hate “socialism” when they clearly support a lot of “socialist” policies.

The GOP voted for George W Bush and this issue wasn't problematic. Walz's charges were reduced to reckless driving. Walz was fined $200 plus court costs, which include the costs of the police alcohol test. He no longer drinks alcohol so apparently learned from this incident.

IMO - worse than the drunk driving charge is him trying to claim to be deaf to get out of it.

Full blown. It's all trans in bathrooms and George Floyd/riots! That's all they got. Wait until they start hearing him speak! This is going to be delicious.

The riots and overall breakdown of law and order in our cities is where the Democrats are most vulnerable. Expect to hear about Kamala’s San Francisco and Tim’s Minneapolis nonstop for the next three months.

Did January 6th not happen? I don't understand how GOP are so concerned about some riots and not others. It's weird.

Bingo

All riots should be equally disdained regardless of the issue behind it because more often than not it's some nut job extremist thugs who don't actually care about the issue behind it....but as such should also be equally prosecuted and equally thought of as wrong regardless of the issue. It's never ok to destroy property regardless of the issue or topic period.

I agree. I read an article about The riots in MN and poor reaction time. Walz was very honest about it all and how it was not handled well. Now contrast that with Trump who still thinks January 6th was a good thing.

Great. So Walz admittedly failed the greatest test of his time as governor. Badly. So…time for a promotion?

Oh, lots more will come out...... but *anything* from a candidate's past is fair game.
Those are the rules the liberals have set. Doesn't matter how long ago it happened.......

I can guarantee the Dems are not going to try to raise money on the mug shot.

Go away and put on your trump mug shot tee shirt and vote to screw over all our daughters. The dems are busy trying to electing normal president and vice president public servants.

That was looked into and he does have hearing loss in both ears and even had surgery for it.

Oh gee. What a horrible crime. He really put citizens in harms way with this one.
