The campaign is going to go with the pick that has the broadest appeal. Shapiro didn’t get picked. If he wants to run for President, he can. He’s young! |
He was humiliated? Where did he say that? Or did he only tell you, and you’ve kindly come here to share with all of us? |
DP I’m fine with them. Pretty sure they’ve been around for longer than I have, and we are not a socialist country. But good try. |
I'll suggest a different take. He just got shortlisted as a finalist for potential VP two years into his governorship. He's now on everyone's radar whereas he was just another new governor. I'm sure he'll be shortlisted for cabinet positions as well as well positioned for a future run at President. Moreover, he now knows what kinds of issues he'll need to tackle to run the primary gauntlet. Sometimes, the stars don't align just as they didn't for Harris in 2020. |
Tim Walz told a really bad dad joke and gave you the punchline before you could answer. |
All riots should be equally disdained regardless of the issue behind it because more often than not it's some nut job extremist thugs who don't actually care about the issue behind it....but as such should also be equally prosecuted and equally thought of as wrong regardless of the issue. It's never ok to destroy property regardless of the issue or topic period. |
I’ll take a DUI arrest from 30 years over a rapist any day. |
I am so excited for Governor Walz for VP!! All the Bo options had strengths, but Walz was my dream choice!
Proud of Harris for her choice. Excited to vote and donate for Harris-Walz!!! |
Am I the only one who thinks of Little House on the Prairie anytime someone says Mankato? |
Honey, you are so desperate. You have spent the entire day writing posts about Governor Shapiro as though he had been wronged. There were several people on that list. You don't care about them? |
He wasn't humiliated. He basically pulled out after his interview with Harris on Sunday because he knew he was going to be a lightning rod. |
Walz did suffer health consequences from all those howitzer cannon booms. U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs records supplied by Walz after MPR News inquired about the scope and timing of the damage show he filed a claim for bilateral hearing loss and tinnitus with the agency in 2013. In a benefits application, Walz spoke of blasts that "would knock us down and after firing I had ringing in my ears" and hearing loss that progressively worsened during his 21 years in the field artillery unit. |
There is a bill (the North Star Act) in the MN state legislature to make the state a sanctuary state but it has not been voted on (and by the looks of it probably won't pass if and when it comes to the floor), so the governor can "declare" anything he wants but, as of now, MN is not a sanctuary state. |
