If you can afford it, sure. Or if she is willing to work or do chores to pay for it, sure.

It does damage hair, and I am really glad I did not start highlighting until my 30s.

It is so so bad for your hair. Thankfully I’ve explained this to my girls and they don’t want it. And they have gorgeous hair.
