Do any of your boyfriends/ husbands like you a normal weight vs skinny?

The rationalization fat women will go through to claim that men prefer them over thin women is hilarious.

You know why there aren't any fat super stars (females)? Because men find them gross.

I’ve read every page of this and no women are claiming their husbands like them fat. They are claiming, at most, that they like them around a size 8 or 10, in the middle to upper range of normal BMIs. If you believe that is fat, you are incorrect.

And what does that have to do with normal weight women?

Furthermore, there are plenty of fat superstars, Adele, Mama Cass, Aretha Franklin, Meghan Trainor, Lizzo, etc. Even more normal weight ones.

But again, fat women are largely irrelevant to this thread. Did you misread the title and post?

Other than when I was pregnant, I’ve been the same weight since high school. 115 is normal for me. I eat a ton. I’m just very active. I’ll never be heavier than this. My husband seems ok with it given the obesity too often seen in women my age.

Presumably "normal weight" as in the normal weight range as designated by the government. You would probably be underweight, aka not that range

I am 5’8” and 115 lbs. I would say 115lbs on a 5’5” frame is normal to a little chunky. Hardly skinny.

I like the way I look at 110#.
DH likes the way I feel at 120#.

Neither is wrong, but at 120, I am overall softer and have more of a round a$$. I tend to gain weight in breasts, hips and butt, but maintain a waist/hip ratio of around 75 at both lighter and heavier weights.

more generally, I had a boyfriend who liked thin women and made me feel, even when I was at my thinnest, that I was not thin enough for his tastes. And I dated a man who thought I was too thin and preferred curvier (not fat) women. SO its individual.

Congratulations, you have an eating disorder! I'd offer you a cookie but I guess that would be in poor taste.

You are underweight according to the BMI chart. The 5'5" is on the lower end of normal. The idea that you conceive of that as chunky is a sign that your concept of weight is disordered.

I hope this is a joke. I am 5'6'' and wear a size 0 when at 130. My face looks like a zombie too at that weight as my upper body basically has no fat left. Did you consider that some women actually carry muscle in addition to fat and bones?

Considering OP mentions stomach fat I assume she means America "Normal" or overweight. The pp you are replying to is not underweight.

5’5’’ 115 is a BMI of 19.13. It’s barely within the healthy range.

It's well within the healthy range.

What are you talking about. BMI is not a percentage. I can’t take the ignorance. No wonder 72% of Americans are overweight or obese. It is getting to the point that no one knows what a normal healthy body should look like.

signed 18.5 BMI

Under 20% for women is just outside the healthy range

Please don't have daughters so they don't grow up with such a warped sense of health and size. I would also consider getting medical help, it's likely you have an eating disorder.

You can’t shame me. I am skinny and hot. I don’t have an eating disorder. I just don’t stuff my face. I have had plenty of fat roommates to know what an eating disorder is. Have a hard day, eat straight for an hour. It is really not hard to be skinny.

Skinny does not always equal hot. How does your face look? That's the real question

But fat always equals ugly. Always.

Oh boy I can feel the small d*ck energy in this thread with all the need to tear women down about their size. Almost like you're projecting.

Why would it threaten you if another man finds larger than average or even fat women attractive? Does it really hurt your soul that much? Poor tink tink LMAO.
