Do any of your boyfriends/ husbands like you a normal weight vs skinny?

DH likes curves. I was overweight when we met. 5’5” and 175. I’m now 140 and have a more defined waist. He said it looks really good/sexy, but he loves me at either weight.

Yep. DH once told me touching a woman shouldn’t fee like touching a man. DH is not attracted to really sculpted muscles on women.

That's such a weird thing to tell your wife. Like telling your husband you don't like 10-inch d****s. As if it had at any point been an option.

They don’t want to feel like they’re with a man.

They never had a chance with women with that extremely rare body type and by putting it down they make themselves and their wives feel better.

If you check a lot of sites that compile beautiful women, it's almost all curvy women. I was just looking through a subreddit about this yesterday, and it was kind of depressing, as a skinny woman, because nearly every single woman had that "thicc" look: large breasts or butt, large thighs, soft body. And no this was a general "hot girl" subreddit, not for BBW or anything. I think that a lot of men like that look

Look up female crossfit athletes. They're not skinny. There are a lot more men who prefer that body type than there are women to satisfy that preference. And the men who prefer it really, really prefer it.

I am not letting my head go there. I cannot care or else I will drive myself crazy.

^These women didn't look anything like crossfit athletes. It was video compilations and they were all extremely soft and jiggly and had zero visible muscle. I mean they were definitely "thicc", that's for sure- some would say borderline chubby. It really struck out to me because when I was growing up it was all about the super skinny look

I think it is regional and cultural. Yeah, my husband does not want me to look like a pre-pubescent teenager. I was thin when we met and have been thin the majority of our marriage but lately have gained due to depression meds and covid WFM but he has never been more attracted to me.

"Toned", when I'm in good shape, "thick" when I've let myself go a little and have some softness on top of the muscle.
The men I've been with have all said my body is perfect. But then again, why would I ever sleep with a man who thought anything else?

Men will tell you anything to have sex with you.

6 pack abs just are not attractive (even on men) ... give me a flat yoga belly any day.

I weigh 10 pounds more than I personally prefer because DH loves it. He also loves the lifestyle it allows - no calorie tracking, no food restrictions or fixations. We get to enjoy meals without stressing over if it fits a perpetual diet I need to keep up. I can have a beer or go out for ice cream. I was meticulous in diet and calorie tracking with my first husband, and those ten years was miserable.

I'm not doubting your preferences. I personally like strong fat guys. But if I were to reassure my strong, fat guy partner that I love his body by telling him how gross and unappealing I find men who look like Chris Hemsworth, that would be really weird, and it would not say "I am honest and secure about my preferences and options."

There are exceptions to this but, in general, most red blooded men are noticing your bigger boobs/butt over anything else when you are a normal weight vs skinny.

Bingo. And a little belly fat that goes with that is OK as long as you still have a waist line that curves inward. Beyond that, you need to lose it.

Even the songs praising curvy women, like Baby Got Back or Brick House talk about big boobs and butts but also talk about thin waist. 36-24-36 are in the lyrics. A thin waist is healthy and attractive. Big waist unhealthy and not attractive. So fat women should not mistake “curvy” for big boobs, butt, and no waist.

Yeah, as in laughing at the numbers. That's mocking, PP. "Only if she's 5'3"

I'm sure my husband would prefer for to be heavier but I don't care. I maintain my weight for myself, not him.

I wouldn't say she looks like a "pre-pubescent teenager." Look at her boobs! They're massive. Yes, they're probably fake but I've heard that fake breasts have come a long way and it's hard to tell nowadays.
