BMI does not factor in muscle tone. For me, people look at me and are surprised by my weight. I am built like a linebacker, which means I do not look my weight.

Huh?! Almost all linebackers are fat. They have a big gut hanging over their pants. Yes, they’re strong — but they’re pretty fat too. It’s not a good look. Next you’ll be saying you’re not “fat” you’re just built like a sumo wrestler!

NP here. Linebackers aren't fat, but I seriously doubt this guy is not fat at 6'2"/260. Unless he is an absolute beast at working out and has a huge amount of muscle, he almost certainly has 40 pounds of fat on him.

Most actual linebackers, i.e. professional athletes, either get fat or lose a lot of weight once their playing career is over. Unless PP is in his 20s and working out hours a day he's carrying a lot of fat on him.

Okay, this guy is super trim. Not fat at all..

He is neither slim nor a linebacker. Lol, this is hilarious.

All the posters saying that mid-200 pounds isn’t fat if you’re built like a linebacker — several claimed that they weighed that much but were in “great shape” and not overweight because they’re just built like a linebacker...

I was referring to the picture that accompanied the text I quoted. It was not a picture of a lineman, not a linebacker. So again, where did any man in here claim that lineman were slim and trim?

You sound like a superficial bitch. I'm sure he could do much better.

Another crazy misogynist literal pig. Enjoy eating yourself to diabetes. Put down the Twinkies, you sad clown.

Dp Also I bet the first poster would tell the husband to dump his wife if she was the one to gain weight!

Anonymous wrote:Geez. Sorry to hear. This should be a rule: never make your wife have to hump a fat guy - especially if she keeps herself fit. Obviously, no ones level of fitness is static and weight varies from time to time but come on.

The rule should include never making your husband have to hump a fat chick as well if he's in shape.

Fat women have been fetishized since the beginning of time. Fat men never have.

And I say this as a very slim bisexual woman. Fat women can be sexy- fat men just look sad. [/quote

Where do you live where fat women are seen as sexy? Not in my world they are!

I doubt it. You are probably tubby with a big soft stomach. We see you. You should move to Europe and see how slim you feel

Why I would need to move to Europe to see how thin I feel? Your post did nothing to address the science noted in mine - namely, the ratio of person's body fat to lean muscle mass is materially important in their appearance regarding how "fat" they appear.

You need to do the following fast:

1) Move out of your mom's basement. It is cute when she calls you "tubby" but adults do not say things like this.
2) Go to the library. Get a book on biology (they can help you find one since you are not very smart). Get mom to read it to you.
3) Answer this - when you say "We see you", do you mean you and your cat can see me from the basement window? I bet so. Put down the computer, go out and try and talk to people other than the nice man who sells you cookies at the Giant.

Right.... Because the NFL linebackers aren’t fat at all... That’s pure muscle in the shape of a beach ball concentrated in their midsections...

You do know those two guys pictured aren't linebackers, right?

Okay, this guy is super trim. Not fat at all...

These pictures are obscene. Just another reason not to watch football along with the lack of the NFL's care for the player's health and well being, and the way cheerleaders are treated, and the general misogyny that seems to be rampant among players and executives.

So, What someone in this thread is saying, Brian Urlacher, Clay Matthews, Ray Lewis, and Bill Romanowski, all Linebackers, are or were fat?
Now that’s funny...

Lots of life insurance and long term disability insurance. Get him a whole body MRI. Basically, that's all you can do.

They don't have a clue as to what a linebacker looks like. This is Matthew Judon, Linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens.

Jalon Smith, Cowboys

Kiko Alonso (mmmmm)

I could go on and on.

I thought maybe he would want to work out with me if he saw me working hard and we could make it a couples thing but no. Then he wonders why I’m never in the mood to have sex.

I love him and don’t ever see myself cheating or leaving him over this - I just had to vent my frustration somewhere. The double standard between men and women is not fair. I don’t think he’s depressed. Just hates exercise and loves ice cream. Oh well.

There’s no double standard—just lazy, selfish, unhealthy spouses of both sexes. This is my wife, exactly. She doesn’t seem to care at all that she is borderline obese. I’m pretty fit, and only 5 pounds heavier than when we married 15 years ago. She is about 30 pounds heavier, which is an awful lot since she is 5’5”.

Perhaps she is eating to soothe the pain of being married to someone who looks upon her with such derision.

To guys (and girls) who can't get fit guys, yes.

This is soooo true! If given the choice you know damn well they’d want someone with a hot body! I Should know because I always get stares from the guys with fat chicks because I have a great body.. I actually had this guy walk by me while his chubby girl was sitting in the car And he said, “damn you’re fine”! I thought if his girl only knew he’d be dead.

Which one of you carried a human life for 9 months and then squeezed it out through your genitals?

Don’t start with the having kids excuse! I got my six pack back after 6 months after having my son. Where there’s a will there’s a way .

IKR! But I’m assuming his body type is a contributing factor. My last bf was 6’1 230Lbs didn’t workout but his weight was well distributed so he looked good. When I met my DH he was 220lbs and he’s only 5’9” but actually looked fine too. He’s gained 30lbs since and his belly is really sticking out. If he weighed what people think he should weigh he would look sick. 210lbs would put him in a size 34 pants which is fine.
