I find many many many Korean men hot AF, but I will at least admit anonymously that I was very, very rarely attracted to Chinese men when I lived in HK and Singapore (and before we get going, YES there are lots more Asian ethnicity but I feel weird putting out some kind of 'ranking' on how hot I found the men on my travels, so I'll stick to the ones I have lived in)-

Its not a feminitiy thing, its a stature thing. Which I think you can easily confuse with feminine but its not the same- maybe in the USA its the same but certainly not in other parts of the world. Heck, male members of my family born and raised in S. Europe carry full on cross body bag/ purses! Korean men tend to be taller and broader and being a western woman who is in good shape but still 5'9", it just felt less attractive to smaller men and less attracted to them. I am much, much, much more drawn to bulkier type dudes, but I don't find them to be less masculine if they wax their chests or get manis or wear designer clothes (DH is practically hairless, genetically)

I do get that makeup is seen as feminine and some women are not in to that, musicians across space and time have bent this norm though- so I'm sure they probably weren't into it when it was Fall Out Boy style smokey eyes either.

I can totally see that. That's why I find BTS particularly attractive. They're all fairly tall. I agree that for me to be attracted to a guy he has to be taller than me and somewhat tall. Here they are with Halsey:

I’m married to a Korean man and I don’t find them attractive. They’re meant to appeal primarily to teenage girls just like Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC back in the day and part of that is not looking too adult/too manly. My husband is tall, broad shouldered, and hairy AF for a Korean (full beard and chest hair) and that’s the look I’m attracted to.

I am cringing at people who find them cute and wholesome and praise their “work ethic” (ugh) guys the kpop industry is ruthless and exploitative and there’s nothing cute or wholesome about it.

LOL someone really tried to say BTS is ugly because they aren't hairy and have smooth, unwrinkled skin. You couldn't make it up.
