We got a ton of kale in our misfit box the other day so I am trying this. Cookie and Kate is my go-to, she never steers me wrong.

Made this in the microwave because I was feeling lazy and man it was GOOD. I usually make a mac & cheese with a bechamel sauce with 6-7 spices, 3-4 types of cheese, eggs, and the oven and it takes an hour at least.

But this? Took me 5 minutes. Delighted.

Made a japanese curry with meat, kabocha squash and carrots.

Will be making bolognese sauce tomorrow and prepping chicken divan for Monday.

I made the NYT Pasta with Garlicky Spinach and Buttered Pistachios tonight - hadn't ever seen the recipe before today, but pistachios are my favorite nuts so I always have them on hand, which made it a pantry pull, didn't even need to make substitutions (thought they say you could use almonds or hazelnuts). Is good, would recommend.

I made the Once Upon a Chef homemade falafel and it was really good -- I recommend. And not that difficult. I used a little less oil and just rolled them more as I hate wasting all that oil. I also made the pita from thekitchn -- also not hard, although mine didn't totally puff, but I think that's because my oven stinks and loses heat. High temperature is apparently important for the pita to puff, so if you have a crappy leaky oven, kick it up another couple of notches.

I made yeast rolls for the first time. They were good but not as fluffy as I had hoped.

Love her! If you haven’t yet, you must make her vegetarian chili. It is my favorite of her recipes.

I made Sticky Honey Garlic Butter Shrimp the other night. DD inhaled it. I took the advice of a commenter and heated up the sauce separately to thicken it before adding it to the cooking shrimp. Yum!

I love that website for recipes.

This one was excellent! Thanks for posting. I used curry powder instead of turmeric (because I don't keep that stocked) and a little bit less cinnamon, and I also used about 3/4 pound of cauliflower cut into small florets and chopped stems. I served it with naan bread.

Each kid is picking out a country and I make a dish from there and we listen to that country’s music during dinner. Tonight is Egypt and I am making Koshari for the first time.
