Kabocha squash in Thai red curry. I already have the kabocha cut into pieces yesterday. I will make for dinner. I also add toasted cashew nuts in it. If kids don't like it we have premade Japanese rice bowls. |
I boiled the leftover ham bone in 8 cups of water and 1 bay leaf.
Removed from broth and but ham off bone. Added 2 cups of potato and 1 onion to broth... boiled 10 minutes. Removed potatoes and onion with 1 cup of broth, blended. Added chopped celery, carrot... boil for 5 minutes Added 3 small potatoes ... chopped small... boil 5 minutes add can of corn add blended potato and onion add ham from the bone. Yum! |

OOH that looks great. Pizza was on my list of upcoming things to make. Making it in a cast iron skillet sounds so much better than my irregular shaped, slightly undercooked crust on a baking sheet |
Making Roti Keju - so excited.

I want to try super easy no knead bread, but I don't have a dutch oven. Anyone knows what can I use instead?

I made kimchi! Used this recipe but added flour paste since lots of other recipes seem to call for it.

Any kind of heavy oven safe pan or casserole dish (preferably with high sides) and if you don't have a lid that will fit, you can use a piece of foil |
Thanks! I have one like that, but it is kind of bread shaped. In the video she used a round dutch oven! |
