Why so many people hate New England Patriots?

I thought Gisele was doing the right thing by congratulating the winner, no? Isn’t that what good sportsmanship is all about? Not exactly a mystery if you were raised properly, no?

Ask Tom, who didn’t congratulate Foles?

I do not pretend to know him, any more than you should.

There is an anti NE poster hell bent on an argument. Hilarious!

I hate them because they cheat. And because they beat my Jags.

At least you have a team. Lots of Redskins fans have plan B, out of necessity, which is sort of sad.

White people dominating the only area of life they aren't the best at except for rap music is demoralizing.

White people dominate football? Since when?

I had the same question. My oldest was always one of the only white kids on the team no matter what state we were in. How is it a white dominated sport?

This Redskins fan has no idea what you’re talking about.

And was rooting for the Patriots, just as I did in 2005, because the Eagles are worse.

Patriots dominate football. I think that's the point . They are white . It is the final indignity.

The popular player who is a celebrity player, has a good looking model wife and flaunts all of it. Even when the new team just won, it's all about how sad Brady is. How upsetting. How the team lost, will he retire... What about the new team that just won?

Here's the issue: Brady does not flaunt it, he doesn't have to, but he is successful. There are unhappy people that just don't like successful people, and nothing will ever change (either side). He is allowed to be good, and is not looking for permission from anyone. He is his own person, and I respect that. He is actually fueled to do well by the hate toward him, which is remarkable. When he ages out the schadenfreude will be disproportionate to anything else. It says more about people who have such hate for someone they will never know, than anything else. This is the part that is fascinating. As for the team that just won, they are busy burning down their own city.

People dont really hate Brady unless he has ripped their heart out. However, hating fans who believe that his success is somehow their success is fair game.

I don't see it that way, and (since you brought it up) don't understand about fans who see his winning as your failure; just as I don't think people equate his success with their own. But maybe if you see his success as your failure, than you make the assumption that other people think along the same lines as you - that makes no sense, really. It sounds immature, self centered, narcissistic and well, ridiculous. I don't understand the hate that haters don't want to call hate, when it is quite obviously that. In fact, there were more anti- NE Philly fans yesterday than Philly and NE fans put together, which may sound reasonable to you....

I did enjoy watching them lose yesterday though. Has it been mentioned that they lost to a journeyman backup QB?

So? The best team won yesterday, NBD. It is not a reflection on you, as hateful as you are. If I were you, I wouldn't worry about the football so much as your reaction.

Awww, so sorry. It is ok to enjoy watching the Pats lose you know. It is just a game after all. "Hateful" LOL, that is funny. Not as funny as Brady getting stripped of the ball late in the 4th though, but pretty funny still.

Wasn't that a great play? That was awesome - probably one of the best if not the best play of the game! This is PP, and no I am not a fan of either, but 1.) I recognize a good play when I see one 2.) I recognize a good team when I see one and 3.) I recognize an immature adult when I see one. Not sure about your visceral hate for people you don't know personally, however. That needs medical attention.

LOL!!!! You just don't get it.

Brady is an interesting phenomenon. He has everything the world could give and seems bored. He seems troubled and is wearing really wierd styles like he's grasping for something that may fulfil him. I think the public senses this on a level they don't examine. It's basically an indictment of the world and people that put faith in the world are troubled by it. Vanity.. Chasing the wind.. No satisfaction.. Death.

You wish.

Gawd, your life must suck. Try staying in your own lane.

Are you ten years old?

Other PP, Brady stopped at least one Eagles player in the tunnel and congratulated him in person - probably more, but he tends to do things on the down low, not for attention. Not sure this PP is capable of grasping that.
